Here are some prayers from the past week:

I appreciate the things you have shared about various God-fearing leaders in our country since I came on board with Intercessors for America around the time of the 2016 election. My heart is blessed to get a glimpse of their deep faith and principled living, and it warms my heart to know that godly individuals are in the midst of all the chaos going on in and around our national government. Praying for them is such a blessing because of the kindred spirit we share.

I also appreciate the live first Friday prayer times that you make possible. What a wonderful way to unite with other believers in praying for our nation’s concerns It seems to me that the impact of our prayers is exponentially increased when brethren are able to agree with the voiced prayers of one another.

Lord, we thank you for Representative Steve Scalise. We ask for protection for him and his family. Lord, he serves a major role in our government, so we ask that he have great wisdom from You. Guide him, Lord, in all that he does. Give him favor among those in congress. Ps 37:37-40 “Consider the blameless, observe the upright; there is a future for the man of peace. But all sinners will be destroyed; the future of the wicked will be cut off. The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; He is their stronghold in time of trouble. Amen! Praise the Lord! It is wonderful to see our leaders of this country in prayer. Just one thing…don’t wait for something bad to happen before you pray. May we become a nation under God again. i praise God for this ministry. The way updated prayer requests are delivered via email regularly but not overwhelmingly along with suggestions for how to pray in agreement with select Scripture references have often been the catalysts which have moved me into more and deeper places of intercession that is (i believe) led of the Spirit of God. This is confirmed whenever i visit your site and read prayers being shared by others below the posted articles. How uplifting it is to see the way our hearts are so clearly being united through a mutual genuine repentance of our selfish and wicked ways and an impassioned plea for our Father’s forgiveness and mercy to be shown to our nation once again.

Heavenly Father, thank You for these things. i implore You, dear God, continue to compel us to You; to love You with all of our hearts, souls, minds and strength and to love our neighbors as ourselves, to love even our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us. This is where we find You. This is where we may know You and be known of You. May the Name of Your Son, our Savior, Brother and Friend, Jesus Christ, be lifted High in all the earth! Hallelujah!!
