I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we pray that the information we are receiving about COVID-19 is as truthful and accurate as possible to protect the American people and not being pushed for political reasons or out of fear.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is increasingly on the hot seat for its performance during the pandemic, from its testing and counting of COVID-19 cases to its chief’s predictions for a second wave of the disease.

For CDC Director Robert Redfeld, whose predictions about the AIDS virus decades ago drew unflattering scrutiny, it is familiar territory.

The latest controversy reportedly centers around concerns over the CDC’s tally of coronavirus cases and deaths, which Dr. Deborah Birx reportedly challenged last week during a meeting of the White House Coronavirus Task Force she leads.

“Birx and others were frustrated with the CDC’s antiquated system for tracking virus data, which they worried was inflating some statistics — such as mortality rate and case count — by as much as 25 percent,” according to the Washington Post.

The newspaper quoted two sources who alleged Birx said, “There is nothing from the CDC that I can trust.” White House and CDC officials did not immediately return calls Sunday seeking comment on the report.

Concerns about possible CDC overcounting of COVID-19 deaths follow recent alarming speculation by Redfield about the severity of a feared second wave of the disease with the return of cold weather.

“There’s a possibility that the assault of the virus on our nation next winter will actually be even more difficult than the one we just went through,” Redfield warned recently in a Washington Post interview. “We’re going to have the flu epidemic and the coronavirus epidemic at the same time.”

He added that “when I’ve said this to others, they kind of put their head back, they don’t understand what I mean.”

However, the first “assault” was also concurrent with the flu. More importantly, several key differences this fall should tend to make coping with the virus easier, not harder:

  • We will know coronavirus is out there.
  • If there are effective treatments for it we will probably know by then (the jury is still out on the first two proposed).
  • We will certainly have enough ventilators and beds (we did this time, warnings such as New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s to the contrary).
  • Most importantly, a significant portion of the population will have already been exposed by then and either developed immunity (as antibody tests are now showing) or died, whereas during the first wave nobody was immune.

Redfield takes a dire view of the severity of the coronavirus pandemic relative to historical precedents.

“I think it’s important for the American public to understand about the potential magnitude of the challenge that we have,” he told a Salt Lake City radio program earlier this month. “This is the greatest public health crisis that has hit this nation in more than 100 years.”

He emphasized, “That’s not a hyperbole; that’s just a fact.”

“More than 100 years” means at least to 1919. That happens to be when the single greatest flu epidemic ever was sweeping the world. The “Spanish flu” killed an estimated 675,000 Americans, equivalent to over 2 million adjusted to current population. . .

But the “Asian flu” of 1957-1958 killed an estimated 2 million people worldwide and about 70,000 in the United States, or about twice the mortality from coronavirus relative to population population. Even with that expansive definition of death causality, 140,00 Covid-19 deaths seems highly unlikely.

In evaluating Redfield’s coronavirus  predictions, it helps to know that Redfield was a driving force behind early warnings about AIDS in the 1980s and 1990s.

In this writer’s 1990 book, “The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS,” he is mentioned on 24 pages. A sample: “Dr. Redfield, amazingly, has declared [the chances of] male-to-female vaginal HIV to be 50 percent per contact.” Yet data already available at that time showed that if neither partner had genital sores or other openings, odds approached zero.

Redfield’s public career has at times seemed to straddle the line between medical research and political activism. In the early 1990s, he backed federal legislation that would have subjected people with HIV to forced testing and the loss of their professional licenses and would have effectively quarantined them — for a disease essentially transmitted by anal sex and transfer of blood and blood products.

Redfield also threw his weight behind an HIV vaccine in 1992 that proved worthless — although an Army investigation (he was a colonel at the time) found no official misconduct.

Perhaps the costliest failure of Redfield’s career comes from the current crisis, specifically the CDC’s mishandling of initiating Covid-19 testing, which put the U.S. behind the rest of the world.

Foregoing a test developed in Germany for the World Health Organization and used widely across the globe, the CDC opted, in keeping with its standard practice, to develop its own test. In doing so, however, the CDC failed to follow appropriate manufacturing procedures according to a Washington Post investigation. This led to contamination of one of the components used in the tests and further delay.

Finally, “On February 28, nearly 50 days after the virus’s genetic sequence was made available, the FDA approved the CDC’s existing tests to be used in the US,” noted the publication Vox. This delay not only affected treatment protocols, but to this day it affects our understanding of how the epidemic has spread — although now antibody tests are being used to develop a better sense of that and finding vast numbers of people have been infected without apparently even knowing, because this is generally a very mild disease. . .

A friendly discussion with a person involved with statistical material left me disgusted.
The bottom line was the comment ” statistics can say anything you want them to say. It’s a matter of proper presentation.”
Therefore, if a nursing home had 28 deaths and they claimed virus, they aren’t going to emphasize this place was to lose their license because of extremely poor care.
If there were 120 deaths of “vulnerable” they all had Multiple health issues before the virus. Common cold might have killed many.

My question on reporting was if 10 people met for a meeting and one was tested positive why were ALL reported. The asinine idea that sometime in the far distant future they will then be accused of something?

In our ‘hood, the CDC said, ” no well person needs to wear a mask”. But that was denied as inappropriate since Chicken Little was loose crying, ” the sky is falling. The sky is falling.” Friends got Mr. Little help for his compulsive lying and paranoia. Then everyone got back to work..

When you understand that the CDC is not a United States government agency but rather a private organization that receives funding from the government then you begin to grasp why they function as they do. Private donors make up the largest funding for the organization. That means that George Soros and the Gates Foundation have influence in the decision making of the CDC.

Father, we thank you that truth is coming out and ask that you work continue to reveal deception. Release those imprisoned by deception and open their eyes to the truth. Depose those who have lied to us and bring people of truth to leadership. Thank you for loving us. Continue to pour out the gift of repentance on our nation. May we be faithful to you and to hear your voice and obey. May we be faithful in prayer.

A few days ago, Wanda Algiers wrote about a dream she had where a spirit of deception had been unleashed. This evil spirit is able to control the thoughts of people to where what they see is like an alternate reality. Their behavior becomes cult-like, where they lose their ability to be objective and make decisions based on rational facts. It seems like half the nation is under its spell, including many many people in our government making important decisions that affects all of us. The purpose of this spirit is to change our country drastically to shackle it’s citizens, remove our freedoms, and bring tyranny. The news media is the mouth piece that spews forth the lies 24/7. The people that listen to these lies develop the false narrative and then become enslaved to this spirit. I think this is only one aspect of the entire picture, but the exposure of this spirit is important because without this spirit working, the enemy would have no power to bring about this massive deceptive and chaos were are seeing now. It is involved in the response to the virus, the resistance to our President, these crazy proposals to trace the virus and lock people up, the Flynn case and on and on.

The good news is that we as Christians have been given authority over these evil spirits through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross for us through faith. I believe until this spirit is defeated the captives literally cannot see their way out.

Dear Father, we come to you as believers in Your goodness and thankful in our hearts for sending Your precious Son, our Savior Jesus Christ who when parting to heaven gave us the promise of the Holy Spirit available to all who seek Him. I petition you dear Father that through the Holy Spirit You would bind this spirit of deception, and release it’s hold on all government leaders and decision makers that their eyes may be opened and they may see clearly the task at hand and put forth rational policy that has the best interests of all the citizens in our country. Give them wise counsel to lead us out of these problems confronting us today.
Concerning the virus, I pray as a wise man said, “May not the response to the virus be worse than the virus itself”. May these decision makers understand this concept. May they truly think through their proposals before instituting them. Give them the abilities to problem solve and understand how the ramifications of their policies affect the basic freedoms in our society. Dear Father, if the policy makers are not able to govern with sound judgement, then remove them and put people in charge who can.
Lord forgive us for playing God and thinking we control our time here on earth. For You are the one who determines how long we live, not us. We resist the fear of death and put our faith in You and not in anything of this world.

I don’t understand why we have to be tested for this virus. All other viruses , we are not tested for, even the virus is very deceitful, we could be tested one day, and 10 days later, we could have the virus, It is a waste if money and time, because we cannot try to CONTROL, everyone in the world That is called Communism. We should concentrate on a good vacine and meds to destroy this virus. A vacine from the US, NOT China The US should never have allowed CHINA to infiltrate the US China is our enemy, NEVER allow people to use China for their own money or anything to be made in China. China wants control of US, They are jealous of US

Agree on the testing – waste of time and money. The result could be different in 1 day or 10 or 40 days, and the rationale for isolation associated with testing therefore makes little sense also. Isolate the vulnerable – yes; not everyone.
We may need treatment medicines (made in USA, not China)for the very sick. We DO NOT need vaccines, especially considering the most likely makers of vaccine want to vaccinate the world with a goal of depopulation.
