I Prayed have prayed
Lord Jesus, help us be Your ears and voice this weekend as we reach out to our loved ones who are isolated right now.
Reading Time: < 1 minute

Social distancing should not lead to social isolation.

We have been urged by our national leaders to practice social distancing, which is deliberately increasing the physical space between people to avoid spreading illness. Staying at least six feet away from other people lessens your chances of catching COVID-19. We have also been encouraged to protect all Americans who are 65 years of age or older, by not visiting nursing homes and assisted living.

Nothing takes the place of hearing a human voice. Think of the people you know who are now isolated, and it’s not just seniors, but also people who live alone. Texts and Facebook messages are not as connecting as an actual phone call, Skype, or FaceTime.

We are asking you to call at least one other person this weekend—to connect and to care, and to offer comfort.

And when you call, don’t rush. I read recently about a woman whose mother was elderly.  This woman promised herself that she would never be the one to end a phone call with her mother, knowing that her mother was nearing the end of her life. I have tried to follow this advice when I call my mother, who is 95 years old.

Let us know how it goes! Leave a comment. And share this post with others. Imagine what would happen if we all call one person. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?

There are some people in this world whose family members, for one reason or another, have abandoned them. Now would be a very good time to reconnect even if only by a little greeting card, or phone call.

God Bless Us, You and Everyone on The Lords Good Earth🙏 I pray that everyone, especially the elderly, (which are always Deeply on my heart!) Are kept safe from this virus and the Holy Spirit wash over us all and keep us safe! We pray the Lord Jesus Blood wash over us with a blanket of protection, over our families in our nation, our leaders, all the families, and the lonely ones who have no one, move your heavenly Angel’s Lord to keep those who need them in thier caring arms of protection and keep this from doing any more damage to us than it has already, In The Mighty Precious name of JESUS, protect us Lord from this attack from the enemy! We are washed clean in Jesus Name,we all put on the armor of God…..
The helmet of salvation,
The breastplate of righteousness,
The belt of truth,
Our feet are shod with the preporation of the gospel of peace,
We hold the shield of faith which will quench the fiery darts of the wicked,
And the Sword Of The Spirit, Which Is The Word Of GOD!
Amen & God Bless us All.

I normally visit abuot 6 people anywhere from weekly to monthly. Now I have switched to phone calls. the calls are appreciated. I miss visiting them as much as they miss the visits. I am praying that the Holy Spirit will open doors in talking with those who don’t know Yeshua.

We have a women’s prayer group that meets every Friday morning at our church. Yesterday instead of meeting, we called one other person in that group to PRAY OVER THE PHONE. What a blessing! Afterwards we shared the idea with our church online prayer chain. Since we can no longer meet as a congregation, I pray the idea will encourage many to reach out to pray with others, showing we care and lifting up the needs of our nation and families! Love this CALL, CONNECT, and CARE!!

Father,
Thank you for the technology that we have to be able to be connected during this time of being physically apart. Thank you that we can use it for good. Help us to think of people who are alone and give us words of encouragement from your Word.

I have already committed myself to check on persons that live alone by phone. Even though my husband and I are in our seventies and in good health we are calling people and encouraging them with the Word of God. Thank you Lord!!!We will not let the spirit of fear control our lives. Praying Ps 91 over our leaders, nation and the world. Especially pray for our servicemen and women and their families, first responders and hospital personnel. We
have a son and family that are overseas in the military and family who are in the medical field.
thank you Lord for your peace that passes all understanding!! Thank you Intercessors for America for sharing valuable and up to date information

This whole virus thing has caused such fear an panic in my daughter that I decided to go with her to get her hair done an just being with her has already helped her to be calm. Families stay close to each other if at all possible. I think this is a media infused fear an God did not give us a spirit of fear but of love power an a sound mind. Pray Psalms 91 over u an ur family.

An elderly friend called me this morning by “FaceTime”. What a wonderful way to connect with others that are also unable to get out because of this virus. Do yourself a favor and another person a favor by FaceTiming them. It makes you and them feel better.

Good advice! As children and caregivers of aging parents, especially homebound or limited mobility, it us important to minister to their needs and to calm thier storms.

My in-laws are 90/89, live 6 hours away, and 2019 was one health issue after another. Mom has had bronchial and upper respiratory her whole life. Last month mom had cataract surgery and dad plastic surgery for skin cancer. To add to that, mom just was tested for Covid19 as a precaution with test result next Tuesday. Needless to say, that is testing thier resolve and Faith.

Nevertheless, say are reaching to God in Faith, seeing that God can use this for the very revival they have prayed for years.

Add to this, they have a 64 year old daughter with a rare cancer, who they cannot visit, as she lives across the country. Yet, God us still on His throne, directing it all!

I would also add, that before the phone call, PRAY! Ask God for fresh things from Hum to share. And, if you can, have a spouse or friend pray during the call. And seal up the call with new prayer afterwards. There are more years behind them…and eternity before them!

Lord, we need your Holy Spirit to fall on America now in this crazy time of isolation from everyone. I pray that your presence will fall on believers, non believers and the lonely and isolated at this time. Thank you, Lord, that your word does not come back void. I pray for a great harvest so all can experience your love and hope in this fallen world.
I pray for our President, Vice President, his task force and all who are working hard to find a speedy antidote to covid-19 so many will be saved and they will fulfill your destiny for their lives. I praise you, Lord, as I ask in Jesus name – my hotline to God.
