Soon a whole new weapon will enter service with the Russian army, its combat properties will be based on laser energy and hypersonic technologies, Sergey Shoygu, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, said, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.

“In the near future, the Russian Armed Forces will receive a completely new, unparalleled weapon based on hypersonic and laser energy technologies. Its first samples have already been put on trial combat duty,” Shoygu said at a scientific-practical conference with the Armed Forces leadership.

PRAY FOR OUR MILITARY WITH A PRAYER GUIDE WRITTEN BY AN ARMY GENERAL:

The Minister also notes that the new Russian intelligence systems that come into operation increase the capabilities of the troops.

“The Strelets command, control, and intelligence system enable the troops to engage the targets in almost real time, 8-12 minutes after their detection”, he explained. (Excerpt from Bulgarianmilitary.com)

The U.S. Marines are testing a new prototype laser weapon system designed to clear the skies of pesky drones. The Compact Laser Weapon System, or CLaWS for short, is a vehicle-mounted laser meant to disable or down small unmanned aerial vehicles, preventing them from acting as spotters or even flying suicide bombs. The laser weapons are being mounted on the new Joint Light Tactical Vehicle . . . .

Drones have become an increasing threat in recent years. Cheap and easy to control, drones can act as spotters for enemy forces, coordinate an artillery barrage or airstrike, or even conduct their own attacks. In the mid-2010s, drone attacks against Ukrainian ammunition depots by suspected Russian drones resulted in several explosions, one death, and the loss of at least a billion dollars in ammunition. Around the same time, ISIS forces conducted numerous drone attacks against their opponents, in one case killing two Kurdish fighters and seriously wounding a French soldier. What do you think? Are we seeing an arms race develop? Are you concerned about U.S. relations with Russia? Leave a comment.

No, it doesn’t, that’s why I asked IFA to alter their feed. With a mini IPad one uses two fingers to “stretch” the screen, thus making the print larger.
That does not work with your feed. I would not have asked for your tech people to change the font or enable enlargement if I hadn’t already tried everything on my end! And there is nothing wrong w/ my eyes…I see better than 20/20. But this causes eye strain!
Thank you, Pat

Im a bit of a visionary and see how easily things of destruction are created things to extinguish human life ideals of the different tribes of man from faraway lands languages that change imagine….just imagine for one moment the vast underwater cities …the immense spacestations possible Lunar and Martian Colonies weapons yes trained upon Earth aimed Asteroids this Blue Gem of a world we live in needs to be pampered a bit more by all of its inhabitants…to put a Smile on Gods face that we are taking care of his Creation and thank God we have a great President Trump running this country not a warmonger but one if the need arises… to act decisively but leave it only as last resort.

Laser technology in the US military has been around for decades. One thing that I know for certain, due to a family member being involved. We have a “mounted” guided system used on our bombers. If utilized, it can boil the eyes, out of the sockets of the pilot in the fighter jet closing in on the bomber. Brutal, yes… yet effective. Without firing a single shot, missile or defense mechanism. That was designed in the 90’s. Joint effort with the Japanese government.

Your proposed question “should we have fear of an arms race with Russia”?

My answer…

The United States has many weapons in its arsenal. The MOST powerful is its “ALL VOLUNTEER” Military personnel. Unlike our adversaries, our men and women believe so strongly in our way of life. They WILLINGLY step forward into the fray. There is NOTHING more powerful than that.

I’m not too worried. The big deal was Russia’s SA400 anti-aircraft system. That hasn’t hurt us one bit, at least not yet. Then it was China’s Chengdu-20 stealth fighter. All big deals.

Besides, we have a president who gives great latitude to the military. Pray, sure, for our safety, protection, etc. But, I would not worry about these things.

The print is so so small, I can’t read it. Please let us make it bigger w/ the two finger stretch, or make the print like it used to be…readable!
Thank you

When you hold down the control key and tap the plus (+) sign however many times you need to; you can make the print as large as you want it to be.

I work on an IPad, so this not a fix for enlarging the print. Any other suggestions? Thanks

I checked with my daughter and she said that you can enlarge the print on your ipad the same way you would enlarge the print or a picture on you cell phone.
        Hope it works.

I feel this is serious and we need to pray that we can come up with a defensive weapon that will keep us from being venerable.
