For Blanca, that question led to a decision to become a Monthly Ministry Partner with Intercessors for America.

Blanca had been following IFA for several months when she realized that its mission aligned with her own heart for prayer. She believed in the importance of encouraging believers to pray for America and wanted to help make that possible.

But rather than focusing on how much she could give, Blanca looked at what was possible.

“I checked my bills and expenses and saw I could put some money to help the best I could.”

There is something beautiful about the simplicity of her response.

Blanca didn’t wait until she could make a large gift. She simply looked at what God had entrusted to her and decided to do what she could.

And her commitment to prayer is just as inspiring.

A Friendship Spanning More Than 60 Years

Three mornings a week, at 6 a.m., Blanca shares prayer concerns with friends she’s known since high school.

They’ve been friends for more than 60 years!

Imagine the encouragement that comes from friendships spanning six decades, with friends continuing to share their hearts and stand together in prayer.

Blanca’s story is a reminder that prayer doesn’t have to be complicated to be powerful. Sometimes it begins with a few faithful friends who simply keep showing up.

When asked what being a Monthly Ministry Partner means to her personally, Blanca shared:

“The feeling that my prayers make a difference in my life and in others.”

And when asked why she continues supporting IFA month after month, she pointed to her belief that prayer over the issues facing our nation truly makes a difference.
