While far-left Twitch personality Hasan Piker built a massive online following attacking the United States military, praising communist dictators, and infamously declaring that America “deserved 9/11,” his younger brother was reportedly embedded deep inside some of the nation’s most sensitive defense programs.

Murat Piker, Hasan’s younger brother and frequent livestream companion, spent more than a decade working as an aerospace engineer at Boeing, according to a bombshell report from the Washington Free Beacon.

His projects reportedly included the new Air Force One, the E-6B Mercury nuclear command aircraft, airborne surveillance systems, military drones, satellites, and Boeing spacecraft.

According to Murat’s public LinkedIn profile, he worked for Boeing Defense & Space and helped lead the mechanical design and integration of next-generation satellite structures. “I hold a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA and possess active Security Clearances,” his profile states.

A person familiar with Murat’s employment told the Free Beacon he held a “top secret” clearance. There is some dispute over the extent of his Air Force One involvement — a source familiar with the VC-25B program told the Free Beacon he was not formally assigned to it and did not hold the specific clearance the program requires. However, Murat himself told Rolling Stone he performed at least some work connected to the aircraft.

Of particular concern is his reported work on the E-6B Mercury, the Navy’s nuclear “doomsday plane.” The aircraft provides nuclear command, control, and communications between the president, the secretary of defense, and U.S. Strategic Command, and can direct the launch of land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles if ground-based command systems are destroyed. His public work history also reportedly lists the E-3 Sentry, the E-7 airborne early warning platform, the Orca Extra Large Unmanned Undersea Vehicle, Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, and the ViaSat-3 communications satellite. Boeing declined to confirm the details of Murat’s assignments, citing privacy and national security concerns, but told the Free Beacon that clearances are granted only after completing the federal government’s full background investigation and vetting process.

All of this unfolded while Murat regularly appeared on his brother’s livestream. The two streamed together from Japan and France and discussed the ViaSat-3 launch in 2023. Hasan, meanwhile, has stated he would “vote for Hamas over Israel every single time,” claimed he has “no issue with Hezbollah,” called Ultra-Orthodox Jews “inbred,” and has served as a surrogate for progressive Democratic candidates in the 2026 cycle — including Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed and Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong.

A nation that cannot protect its most sensitive defense programs from foreign influence — or from the family networks of those who openly despise it — is a nation with a serious security problem. Scripture calls governing authorities to bear the sword in defense of the innocent, and that mandate includes protecting the infrastructure of national defense. Believers can pray for rigorous scrutiny of security clearance processes, for those charged with protecting America’s most sensitive programs, and for discernment among the officials responsible for keeping the nation’s defenses intact.
