That’s how congressional investigators discovered the prior administration’s vaccine safety surveillance system had picked up “statistically significant safety signals for ischemic stroke” in elderly people as early as November 2022, he also said.

White House officials responded to the signal by “wordsmith[ing]” the draft warning by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Food and Drug Administration, Johnson said. The original language described a “moderately elevated” stroke risk following COVID vaccination, but the White House changed it to a “slightly elevated” risk.

This points to a troubling breakdown of honesty at the highest levels of government. God’s Word consistently calls leaders to integrity and warns against misleading the people they serve. When public health information is adjusted or softened, it raises serious questions about whether truth was sacrificed for control or public perception.

This also underscores the importance of discernment among the American people. In recent years, many have relied heavily on federal agencies for guidance, yet situations like this remind us that earthly institutions are fallible. Christians are called to seek truth, test what they hear, and refuse to blindly accept narratives that may not align with reality.

There are also broader implications for medical accountability and informed consent. If risks were not clearly communicated, individuals may have made decisions without full knowledge—something that runs counter to both ethical standards and biblical principles of honesty and transparency.

As IFA intercessors know, prayer is essential in times when truth may be obscured. We are called to lift up our leaders and institutions, asking God to expose what is hidden and to restore righteousness in positions of authority.
