From the Daily Wire:
A shadow organization linked to the terrorist Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reportedly claimed responsibility for a Monday morning arson attack in the heavily Jewish area of Golders Green, London, marking the latest escalation in a violent campaign targeting European Jewry.
The group, calling itself Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya (The Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right), released a video through “Axis of Resistance” networks claiming they targeted the Machzike Hadath synagogue due to its purported “ties to Israel.”
While the group’s propaganda focused on the synagogue, footage from the scene revealed a more chaotic reality. The primary damage was sustained by four ambulances belonging to Hatzolah, a Jewish volunteer emergency service. The fire caused onboard oxygen cylinders to detonate, sending shrapnel into nearby structures.
Expanded Context
This attack is not an isolated incident. It is part of a broader and deeply concerning pattern of violence tied to a group believed by security experts to be a proxy or “shell” organization for Iran’s regime. In recent weeks alone, similar attacks have been reported in Belgium, Greece, and the Netherlands, targeting synagogues, Jewish schools, and community sites. These coordinated acts suggest a deliberate campaign aimed at spreading fear and destabilization among Jewish populations across Europe.
Additionally, these terror attacks aren’t just confined to Europe. As IFA recently covered, this brand of Islamic terrorism has reached our own shores as well.
Analysts warn that following recent military pressure on Iran, the regime may be increasingly relying on proxy groups to carry out acts of sabotage against “soft targets”—civilian locations with little protection. By doing so, Iran can maintain plausible deniability while still advancing its broader geopolitical and ideological objectives. This tactic not only threatens Jewish communities but also raises serious concerns about the security posture of nations and their ability to respond effectively.
The situation also highlights growing frustration among affected communities, many of whom feel their warnings have gone unheeded. Calls to formally designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization have intensified, as critics argue that failure to act decisively has emboldened extremist networks. As these attacks grow more frequent and brazen, the need for vigilance, accountability, and decisive leadership becomes ever more urgent.
A Call to Prayer for Intercessors
Intercessors, pray for protection over Jewish communities around the world facing increasing threats and violence. Ask God to expose and dismantle networks of terror, to bring justice where evil is advancing, and to grant wisdom and courage to leaders responsible for safeguarding innocent lives. Pray also for peace to prevail over fear and for truth to overcome deception in this escalating conflict.
Intercessor, share this article and lift up a prayer — now is the time to stand against fear with faith.
