As the midterms draw closer, the FBI is expanding its criminal probe into alleged election irregularities. Recently, the Bureau seized data from Maricopa County, the largest county in Arizona.

The sources, who spoke only on condition of anonymity because of the secrecy of the grand jury probe, said FBI agents are receiving gigabytes of electronic election data from Maricopa County, about a month after the bureau first disclosed an investigation into election irregularities by raiding a warehouse near Atlanta and seizing ballots from the 2020 election conducted in Fulton County, Georgia’s largest metropolis.

The subpoena comes five years after the GOP-led Arizona state Senate conducted a lengthy investigation into the 2020 election and concluded there were significant irregularities.

More recently, the bureau was alerted to a report filed by Republican and Democrat election observers who believed they observed irregularities in November 2024 at a warehouse in Arizona where blank and filled-out absentee ballots were observed in the same location, according to the sources.

Arizona has faces concerns about its elections for more than a decade now. In addition to the 2024 complaint above, the state conducted an audit after the 2020 election where it concluded there were irregularities, according to Just the News.

Meanwhile, while the FBI has been quiet about the full extent of its probe, sources familiar with the matter say it is likely to expand its investigation to states beyond Georgia and Arizona soon.

The nation will note this November in extremely consequential midterms that will have major implications for the latter two years of the Trump administration and beyond. Republicans currently control both chambers of Congress, but recent polling shows they are in serious danger of losing control. With so much on the line, it’s important that we pray for integrity in our elections!
