As the new year begins, so do the lies. Nevertheless, this is not a time to be discouraged. Instead, we must put on the belt of truth and stand against the deceptions of the evil one. Rise up, tighten your belt, and be ready to do battle in 2026.

TSA Agent Blows the Whistle

The first lie told by the Left this week revolves around the massive fraud tied to Minnesota’s Somali community. This story becomes more disturbing by the day as new information is being revealed almost hourly. But even as these facts emerge, the Left-wing media buries its head in the sand, calling the scandal “rhetoric.” Instead of educating the public, their reporting focuses on ICE operations targeting Somali populations, which they label as discrimination.

The latest details of this unbelievable saga are sure to turn the stomachs of hard-working Americans who are sick of seeing their tax dollars being used to fund terrorism. But TSA agents are blowing the whistle to let concerned citizens know that “Somali men have been flying potentially billions of dollars out of the U.S. inside their carry-on luggage in recent years, with no one stopping them.”

Former TSA agent Liz Jaksa has first-hand experience because she worked at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport from 2016 to 2021. She explained, “I saw suitcases filled with millions of dollars cash, and the couriers were always Somali men traveling in pairs. And they got through the [security] checkpoint. It just really absolutely blew my mind the first time you open a suitcase and see millions of dollars of cash.”

Billions Funneled Through Airports

The Libs of TikTok posted a video of the TSA agent describing what she saw. “In the five years that I was there, I believe that a billion dollars went through the airport.”

But money in suitcases wasn’t all that Jaksa encountered. “There was another instance–again a Somali man, that had a carry-on luggage filled with brand-new passports, and he was allowed to get through the checkpoint. So, where he went with those passports is anybody’s guess…Since all this fraud came out, the connection’s been made. I didn’t feel good about it then and now it certainly all makes sense.”

Jaksa was asked if she thought the cash was being funneled to the Islamic terror group Al-Shabaab. She answered, “Absolutely. Knowing what I know now, absolutely, there’s no question in my mind that that money went to Al-Shabaab.”

While the Left continues to ignore the mind-blowing evidence of fraud, Americans are realizing that their tax dollars are being used to harm American interests. Islamic terrorists are, in fact, using stashes of cash to fund their next move.

Intercessors, your fervent prayers are needed for America’s protection, especially as these fraudulent schemes continue being revealed.

Teens Say the News is Biased and Deceptive

The next lie told by the Left this week involves U.S. teens and their opinions about the news media. While legacy news stations and publications cite themselves as unbiased, accurate, and “pro-democracy,” it seems that young people in America aren’t buying it. They had some choice words for the media and what they deem “deceptive journalism.”

A survey from the News Literacy Project flies in the face of what liberal journalists call “fair and balanced.” The key findings in the report reveal that “the majority of teens view the news media negatively,” specifying that it’s fake, false, full of lies, inaccurate, and deceptive. Additionally, many teens “believe journalists are skilled at lying and deceiving” rather than informing the public.

When it comes to giving journalists advice, teenagers insist that reporters must “get the facts right and minimize bias.” They also “believe professional journalists regularly engage in unethical behaviors” like giving advertisers special treatment, taking photos and videos out of context, making up details, and paying, or doing favors for their sources.

No Compliments for the Media

When at least 8 in 10 teens use a negative word to describe the news media, that’s a clear indication that America’s youth have figured out that they can’t trust a system based on propaganda. In fact, teens are turning to alternative media sources to find truth and less biased information.

It’s certainly a good thing that American teens are figuring out that the liberal legacy news media cannot be trusted, but we must also pray that they would turn to the number one source of truth–Jesus Christ. The discernment of the Holy Spirit is what they truly need to filter through news and information.

Free Speech Under Attack

The third lie told by the Left this week is about a business leader who is in “hot water” for saying there is “no such thing as a transgender son.”

Jennifer Martin, the executive director of Shop Local Raleigh, a nonprofit organization that promotes small businesses, made an anonymous comment to a post on Facebook. A member of the Facebook group, Networking Women of the Triangle, asked for advice about her daughter, “who has been living as a boy for nearly three years and wanted to play in an after-school volleyball program for boys.” Martin commented, “There’s no such thing as a transgender son. Blessings to you, but the sooner you help your son recognize this, the more successful he (maybe a she) will be.”

Even though Martin’s comment was anonymous, the Facebook group’s administrators were able to identify who posted it. This led to multiple Triangle businesses demanding that Martin resign from her position as the leader of Shop Local Raleigh. An online petition has received more than 800 signatures.

Shop Local Raleigh released a statement. “The comment made does not reflect those of the organization. Shop Local Raleigh is dedicated to a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.”

The Left Lives in a Fantasy World

The Left declares that it’s “dedicated to a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect,” but what they are really dedicated to is squashing free speech at every turn. If anyone disagrees with their irrational beliefs, they immediately shut them down in every way possible.

Jennifer Martin is being asked to resign for making a comment based on reality. In fact, transgenderism is not supported by biological facts, and those who go along with it are living in a fantasy world. We must pray for Jennifer and realize that what’s happening to her could happen to any of us who dare speak truth in a world full of lies.

Lord Jesus, the lies of the Left can be discouraging and overwhelming. Give us great courage and endurance as we battle against the never-ending deception of a sinful world.
