New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani still has weeks to go before he takes office, but he’s already making waves. In his most recent controversy, the Mayor-elect posted a video to X teaching illegal immigrants how to evade ICE.
Who is praying on the wall?

“Last weekend, ICE attempted to raid Canal Street and detain our immigrant neighbors,” Mamdani said in the video posted to X on Sunday. “As mayor, I’ll protect the rights of every single New Yorker. And that includes the more than 3 million immigrants who call this city their home.”

“ICE cannot enter into private spaces like your home, school, or private area of your workplace without a judicial warrant signed by a judge,” Mamdani said.
“You have the right to say, ‘I do not consent to entry,’ and the right to keep your door closed,” he continued.
Mayor-elect Mamdani showed an example of a warrant, telling New Yorkers to resist law enforcement officers if they do not produce the correct paperwork. He also encouraged his viewers to film officers and protest throughout the city.

The Gateway Pundit notes this video came on the heels of a recent disrupted ICE raid in Chinatown. Agents were prevented from leaving when nearly 200 protesters blocked the exit of a parking garage.
Mayor-elect Mamdani’s video comes at a time when threats against and attacks on ICE agents are on the rise. As these agents work to keep us safe, New York City’s next mayor is telling criminals how to avoid them.
This video is concerning and we as intercessors should take it as a call to pray. Let’s pray for ICE agents as they work to keep us safe, and let’s pray that city and state officials would work with, not against them!

This is so sad and it is such a dis-service to Christianity and our nation. Last month, 6 Democrats made a video saying that service members do not have to follow illegal orders. This is a website for prayer. The Supreme Law of the Land is the Constitution of the United States. That document provides for control of immigration to be the sole jurisdiction under the Federal Government. The laws governing immigration have been passed by the Congress and it is up to the Federal agencies to enforce those laws. If one thinks the laws are unjust, then they must act within the provisions of the Federal Constitution to change those laws. That does not mean to interfere with Federal agents in carrying out their duties. If ANYONE takes action to independently change the law they are in violation of the Constitution and should be prosecuted.

I think ICE should always have a second or third or even a third exit before going in. Maybe a helicopter and a rope to get the person out. Also making sure the cars are not pinned in during the exit using NG and gas.

ICE is arresting criminals. They have committed the crime of entering our country illegally. But they have also committed other crimes since being here. We welcome those who come legally, not those who care nothing about our laws and come here to do harm. They must be removed and ICE needs to be supported in removing them.

Please provide evidence that this is happening. I have seen numerous videos of ICE going after known criminals who are also illegal immigrants. I have yet to see any evidence that they are doing what you say. Please back up your claim with evidence. Otherwise it’s just rhetoric.
Margarita, illegal immigration is not a “victimless” crime. There are tremendous unfair costs, burdens, even deaths that have resulted from illegal immigration. They should respect our laws, and go through the process required for legal immigration. Struggling American citizens are the victims here. There is a very high cost that American families are struggling to pay. My heart aches for my kids and grandkids. What kind of nation are we bequeathing to them? The numbers are mind boggling.
