In response to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again initiative, popular retail giant Walmart recently announced it will remove harmful dyes and additives from its store brands.

In a sweeping shift to align with the Trump administration’s “Make America Healthy Again” agenda, grocery giant Walmart will drop synthetic dyes and more than 30 other additives — including artificial sweeteners and preservatives — from all of its store brands.

Walmart’s brands, including Great Value, Marketside, Freshness Guaranteed, and Bettergoods, are all getting the MAHA makeover, according to the retailer. The changes will affect more than 1,000 products, including salty snacks, sweet treats, salad dressings, and power drinks.

The reformulated products are expected to hit the shelves within a matter of months, and all changes are anticipated to be fully implemented by January 2027.

Walmart is only the latest company to fall in line with the MAHA agenda. The Daily Wire notes that PepsiCo, Tyson Foods, Sam’s Club, and others have all also changed their products to align withe the mission. The White House posted a list in July of companies that chose to align with the Trump administration. You can see that list below.

States and other departments have also signed on to the agenda, with the Department of Agriculture teaming up with the HHS earlier this year to limit food stamp purchases to healthier options.

As the fight to Make America Healthy Again continues, let’s thank God for the changes instituted by massive brands like Walmart, and let’s pray for wisdom for Secretary Kennedy and President Trump.
