President Donald Trump wants the Supreme Court to begin hearing arguments in the case as soon as November, a major request for the justices who typically wait until as late as next summer to make a decision, CNBC reported. The Trump administration argues that the 7-4 U.S. Court of Appeals ruling “gravely undermines the President’s ability to conduct real-world diplomacy and his ability to protect the national security and economy of the United States.”
“That decision casts a pall of uncertainty upon ongoing foreign negotiations that the President has been pursuing through tariffs over the past five months, jeopardizing both already-negotiated framework deals and ongoing negotiations,” the administration added in its filing. “Few cases have so clearly called out for this Court’s swift resolution.”
Last week, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled that Trump overstepped his authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to levy tariffs.
IFA reported on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit’s decision. The court found that President Trump lacked the authority to institute taxes such as tariffs, arguing that that power belongs only to Congress. At the time, the Trump administration argued in favor of presidential power, citing that courts had approved of President Nixon’s emergency use of tariffs in 1971.
In our previous article, we theorized that President Trump would reach out to the Supreme Court following this verdict. If the high court agrees to hear the case, it may very well rule in favor of the administration, as it did when it allowed the NIH to cancel DEI grants, or when it allowed the Department of Education to carry out mass layoffs. However, the Supreme Court may decide not to take up the tariff case.
If the Supreme Court does not quickly address the President’s use of tariffs, it could cripple this administration’s economic and diplomatic agenda. Let’s pray for wisdom for the Supreme Court justices, and let’s pray for God’s will to be done!

A tariff war has proved to be catastrophic in history: in 1871 it brought the depression of 1873 which led to 2 millionaires to cover the debt and hold the US in debt to them, the second brought about the stock market crash of 1929. We need to learn
A lot of countries charge tariffs to our goods exported to them. These countries, like Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Euro, etc have big trade surplus over USA. How come they don’t have depression but their governments have no huge deficits and people have good welfares and pay very low income taxes.
The wish by Americans to pay more tax is commendable – for tariffs raise the price you pay for all imported goods. It already has depressed business and raised unemployment to 4.3% the highest for years.
The President was bankrupt six times – so he understands money?
A lot of countries charge tariff to goods export to them from USA and those countries have no government deficit and people have good welfare.
For example, I came from Taiwan 40 yrs ago and then chose America as my country. I know Taiwan government charges goods, like car from USA high tariffs. The people over there have universal medical insurance and they pay very low income tax and property tax.

Let the man do his job. He knows what he’s doing.He’s been a businessman for years. The courts need to quit stepping in and trying to block him at every turn.They’re abusing their power.

We hunger and thirst for righteousness, please judge every intention and decision and fill us with mercy in our economic need as well as every other need currently assailing our nation. Lord we pray You remove all hinderences for those things, including tariffs, that Pres. Trump is instituting for the benefit of our Nation and for the safety of the world. Bring agreement and solidarity into these issues and remove the influence and power of those who work against the good of this Nation and continually oppose Your plans. Remove the stumbling blocks meant to thwart and overturn and cause them to roll back on those who attempt them. As always, we pray You would bring all men to repentance, everywhere, for there is victory for Jesus with each soul who repents.

FATHER GOD please put a stop once and for all to these judges whom YOU did not allow to be voted in as LEADER of America. That distinction YOU allowed to be put upon President Trump! Please expose the hypocrisy of these same judges that allowed our borders to be open and allowed many murderers and rapists and all sorts of criminals into our country during biden’s 4 years with nary a word from these courts. When biden disobeyed the courts that said it was unconstitutional regarding
tax dollars paying off student loans, these district judges were silent. When biden shut down the pipelines and put thousands of men and women out of work, on his 1st day as our bogus president, the judges were silent. FATHER GOD I bind satan who is behind these judges and command him to cease and desist all maneuvering against the entire Trump administration! Please go before them and prepare the way as President Trump is working for America and Americans. Shut the mouth and stop the gross interference of these judges and allow them all to be removed from office since they do not represent the majority of Americans in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST I pray.
