President Trump has ordered the creation of a new census, instructing the Commerce Department not to count illegal aliens in this one.
Have you taken your place on the wall?
From The Daily Wire:
“I have instructed our Department of Commerce to immediately begin work on a new and highly accurate CENSUS based on modern day facts and figures and, importantly, using the results and information gained from the Presidential Election of 2024,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “People who are in our Country illegally WILL NOT BE COUNTED IN THE CENSUS.”
The Census Bureau also says that illegal immigrants, whom it refers to as “unauthorized migrants,” are included in censuses and surveys and added into “the total foreign-born population.”
The Daily Wire not that the decision not to include illegal aliens in the census could run into legal trouble. However, it could also change the makeup of the House, as the government said multiple states were incorrectly undercounted after the 2020 census.
This also comes as Republicans on Texas, in a similar vein, have been pursuing redistribution plans that would add five Republican seats. If both efforts are successful, the 2026 midterm elections could look at lot different.
Let’s pray for the Commerce Department as it creates a new census. And let’s pray that our elected officials and our leaders would better represent the American people as a result of this census!

Dear Lord, from the beginning of civilization you have instituted a census to determine those who are citizens. Please protect this effort to bring clarity to who is and is not a US citizen, and who can and can not vote. This effort should be supported by all truth loving people. Please bring America back to honoring the truth and enforcing honest elections. Come dear Jesus!

It is ridiculous to me that non-citizens would have been included in any previous census that would effect election results through redistricting. They should not be voting! Perhaps other considerations might necessitate a separate census to determine how many illegal aliens are in our nation, and where they are!
YHVH, please restore order and reason in our election processes. If it is
“we” the people, ie. citizens, who are supposed to be governing through this process of elections – government of the people, by the people and for the people – then the election process needs to be protected from fraud and deceit. Census results are a source of possible fraud and deceit – so please give the census bureau the will and wisdom to follow this directive faithfully.
I believe this new Census is a good idea and is important.
Yes Lord. We pray that a new census be taken and that it will only reflect citizens. Give them God-speed and make them accurate. We come against the plans of evil to twist and taint it. Silence the enemy.
Father, I thank you for the wisdom, Your Wisdom that is guiding this nation into holiness. It is not in pride that a census is taken, but rather for protection and integrity that this census must be done. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one for this is what your kingdom is made of. Raise up your remnant to make a way for the Lord and release your Holy Spirit into the seven mountains. Let us rule and reign in the name of Jesus!
