I Prayed have prayed
Heavenly Father, we pray that the Department of Justice has acted in a way that glorifies You. Grant protection for law‑enforcement, wisdom in justice, and exposure of destructive schemes rooted in deceit.

The Department of Justice fired forensic accountant Carolyn Feinstein after discovering she was married to Joshua Aaron, the creator of an anti-ICE crowdsourcing app called ICEBlock.

Pray for your fellow intercessor.

The DOJ cited her lack of full transparency during an internal ethics inquiry as part of its justification, though Feinstein maintains she had informed supervisors of her marriage and husband’s activities, even alerting them to death threats related to his activism. She contends her dismissal amounted to “pure vengeance,” punishing her for her husband’s actions rather than her own performance.

The ICEBlock app enables users to obstruct ICE operations—alerting activists to raids, doxxing agents, and interfering with immigration enforcement. The Gateway Pundit emphasizes that such apps place immigration officers in harm’s way, citing a 500% increase in assaults against ICE personnel, according to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

Border Czar Toman Homan and conservative journalist Laura Loomer both allege that Feinstein’s marriage constituted a serious conflict of interest, prompting formal inquiries to the DOJ. DOJ and DHS officials suggest that while Feinstein’s professional conduct may have been compliant, her association posed an ethical concern, given the app’s direct targeting of federal law enforcement.

Do you have other examples of this type of firing?

I pray that DHS & DOJ offered Ms. Feinstein an opportunity to transfer to another position that did not include a conflict of interest with her husband’s activities. If Ms. Feinstein did indeed notify her supervisor then the government should have worked with her and not fired her.

You are quite right to draw to our attention the injustice done to Carolyn. If only this was an isolated case, but it is par for a partisan administration.
There is a Turkish proverb that is probably relevant.
When a clown moves into a palace, he does not become a King, the palace instead becomes a circus.
