At a graduation ceremony at Southwest Texas State University in 1962, President Lyndon B. Johnson famously stated, “He who controls the weather will control the world.”

Geoengineering, also known as climate modification, was once considered a fringe conspiracy theory pushed by tin-foil-hat-wearing sky watchers who pointed at unusual cloud patterns and streaks in the sky. The idea that the weather can be purposefully manipulated seems unbelievable to most people, even though there’s more than enough evidence to prove it’s happening.

Geoengineering is on the Radar

Whistleblowers and watchdog groups have been sounding the alarm for decades, desperately seeking to educate the public about harmful chemicals and heavy metals that are being injected into the skies. It seemed as if their cries fell on deaf ears, as rogue climate engineers continued to pursue their so-called noble cause of saving the planet from the dangerous rays of the sun that they insist will destroy the Earth.

Nowadays, however, the tide seems to be turning, and it’s not in favor of the climate alarmists who want to play God when it comes to the weather. In response to legal letters from attorneys at the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that it will be investigating a geoengineering startup company called Make Sunsets, which has been sending balloons containing sulfur dioxide into the sky “in an attempt to cool the planet.” EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin stated that the EPA will be examining whether the company is “subject to the rules of the Clean Air Act.”

Make Sunset’s website features two men holding a giant balloon with words underneath that say, “We cool Earth with reflective clouds.” The About page boasts, “We have launched 156 balloons and delivered 135,206+ cooling credits.” The founders of Make Sunsets, Andrew Song and Luke Iseman, “hope you’ll join their journey by purchasing a cooling credit.”

Make Sunsets has already launched a plethora of specialized balloons filled with helium and sulfur dioxide. The process is explained this way–“the helium will carry it more than 12 miles above the surface of the earth into the stratosphere. Once there, the balloon bursts, releasing the sulfur dioxide. The belief: that the gas turns into an aerosol, which will bounce the sunlight back into space, cooling the planet.” Iseman elaborates, “That gas reacts with other things to form clouds that reflect a little bit of sunlight back into space before it can warm Earth.”

The kind of geoengineering being utilized by Make Sunsets is known as stratospheric aerosol injection, or SAI for short. Climate activists like Song and Iseman believe they must take matters into their own hands in order to reduce greenhouse gases before it’s too late. Billionaire Bill Gates is also well-known for his support and funding of geoengineering projects. Unfortunately, their rogue “solutions” could end up causing more problems than the catastrophes they hypothesize.

Experimenting with the Climate is Risky

The frightening truth is that there are myriad unforeseen dangers that can result from manipulating the clouds, atmosphere, and weather. Additionally, there are potential health hazards to humans and animals. Attorney Jeff Childers, who publishes a daily newsletter called Coffee and Covid, explains, “Sulphur dioxide is the same chemical that produces acid rain, respiratory disease and Chernobyl sunsets…a quick ChatGPT query disclosed long-term risks like soil acidification, respiratory illness, heart problems, infrastructure corrosion and even social unrest.”

Childers posed an important question about Make Sunset’s geoengineering experiments. Is this legal? The company has an answer on their website, “Yes, our method to cool Earth falls under the Weather Modification Act of 1976, and we report yearly to NOAA of our deployments as required…For example, we notify the FAA when we deploy a balloon to issue a Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM). We’ve been in contact with multiple US government agencies (CIA, FBI, FAA, and NOAA). They are aware of our business and activities.”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Vows to Stop Geoengineering

Not everyone is convinced of the legality and safety of these rogue experiments, or any others that are happening under the radar. Before he became the HHS Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. responded to an X post about a “chemtrail pilot whistleblower” in August 2024. He vowed, “We are going to stop this crime.”

Nowadays, Kennedy has only strengthened his stance. When the British government announced it would start conducting geoengineering efforts to combat climate change, Kennedy, who has a background in environmental law, boldly stated, “We will soon end this crime against humanity and our planet, and bring justice to the plutocrats who are perpetrating this mass uncontrolled experiment.”

Recently, RFK appeared on the Dr. Phil show, where he was put on the spot by a woman named Emily who asked how to stop geoengineering. “My biggest concern is the stratospheric aerosol injections that are continuously peppered on us every day. Bromium, aluminum, strontium–it’s sprayed in our skies–all day long…How do we stop it?”

RFK did not dodge the question. He responded, “That is not happening in my agency (HHS). We don’t do that. It’s done–we think–by DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency). A lot of it is now coming out of jet fuel. Those materials are put in jet fuel. I’m going to do everything in my power to stop it. We’re bringing on somebody who’s going to think only about that­–find out who’s doing it and holding them accountable.”

Should We Be Concerned about Geoengineering?

Concerns about the detrimental effects of geoengineering are legitimate. RFK has interviewed geoengineering expert Dane Wigington about the impending threats of climate modification. Wigington produced a ground-breaking documentary called The Dimming, which details the covert ways that geoengineering is being used to reduce the amount of sunlight the Earth receives. With an extensive background in solar energy, Wigington has devoted the last 20 years of his life to uncovering, exposing, and halting the risky practice of geoengineering. He asserts that climate engineering is fueling damage, rather than mitigating it.

Wigington was candid in the interview, providing details about “chemtrails,” which he described as “sprayed particulate trails.” This isn’t speculation, he insists. “We have up-close film footage of military tankers and commercial–their nozzles visible–turning on and off–as part of the film The Dimming. At great effort and expense, we acquired a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration flying lab with top scientists in it–we took samples at altitude behind heavy aircraft–we sampled what they were emitting. The samples were processed by one of the top testing institutes in the world…we found exactly what we knew we would find–climate engineering elements, starting with aluminum. Climate engineers have stated their goal of putting tens of millions of tons of aluminum nanoparticles into the atmosphere annually as part of solar radiation management to block the sun’s thermal energy with no consideration of the consequences whatsoever.”

Lab tests have confirmed high levels of aluminum in the soil and rain. This is concerning because it’s well-known that aluminum can accumulate in the human body and has been associated with Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological conditions. This is just one reason why geoengineering must be regulated.

Shockingly, Wigington adds that both commercial and non-commercial aircraft are being used to spray these particulates into the skies using “retrofit nozzles mounted on the wing pylons aimed into the exhaust jet stream.” He adds that there’s currently an illegal gag order on national weather service employees and meteorologists, as well as massive compartmentalization, which prevents pilots and employees from knowing what’s really going on.

Laws Prohibiting Geoengineering

Some lawmakers are not ignorant of what’s being sprayed in the skies. On April 30, 2025, the Florida State House passed a bill (SB 56) that will ban weather modification and geoengineering in the state of Florida.

Florida’s Voice laid out the provisions of the bill.

1. “Outlaws the injection, release, or dispersion of substances into the atmosphere to affect temperature, weather, climate, or sunlight intensity. It classifies violations as third-degree felonies, punishable by imprisonment by up to five years and fines of up to $100,000 with a $5,000 fine cap for aircraft operators and controllers.”
2. “Directs the Department of Environmental Protection to create an email address and online form for reporting suspected activities and to investigate credible reports.”
3. “Mandates operators of publicly owned airports to report monthly to the Department of Transportation on the presence of aircraft equipped for geoengineering or weather modification.”

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed a bill that prohibited “chemtrails” in his state. The law specifies, “The intentional injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus within the borders of this state into the atmosphere with the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of the sunlight is prohibited.”

Though legacy media outlets complain that laws to prevent geoengineering and “chemtrails” are “an example of how unproven and off-the-wall theories are bubbling into the mainstream discourse under the Trump administration,” the truth is that geoengineering is happening, and the government must address it through legislation.

How Do We Pray about Geoengineering?

Man’s desire to manipulate the climate is rooted in the idea that “humans can play God.” As intercessors, it’s important to tackle this issue through prayer.

1. Pray that American citizens would make their voices heard by contacting their legislators and local officials about any suspicious activities in the skies that could be geoengineering.
2. Pray that HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be successful in his quest to find out exactly what people, agencies, and organizations are funding and carrying out geoengineering projects.
3. Pray that geoengineering would be halted in every single state as brave lawmakers rise up to demand transparency and action.
4. As stewards of God’s beautiful earth, pray that America and other countries would care for the planet the way the Creator designed. Instead of trying to change the climate, pray that humanity would follow God’s direction in protecting and preserving the world He gave us.

Lord, we thank you for this amazing, miraculous planet that is filled with abundant life. We ask for Your help in stopping all those who attempt to manipulate and harm what you created.
