The National Day of Prayer was first established in 1952 and assigned to the first Thursday of May in 1988. For over 70 years, presidents have signed National Day of Prayer proclamations, calling people of faith together for a day dedicated to God.

Every year, the National Day of Prayer Task Force gives each National Day of Prayer a theme and a prayer. This yearās theme is āpour out to the God of hope and be filled,ā taken from Romans 15:13, Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
IFA has always cared deeply about the National Day of Prayer, and IFA President and CEO Dave Kubal serves on the board of directors for the National Day of Prayer Task Force, so we have provided several ways for you to honor this special day this year.

As we lift up our nation in prayer this year, let’s thank God for all He’s done. When we celebrated last year’s National Day of Prayer, we were in a much darker place as a nation, hot on the heels of then-President Biden honoring the “International Transgender Day of Visibility” on Resurrection Sunday. Since then, we watched in awe as God saved President Trump’s life in Pennsylvania, protected him from a second assassination attempt, and brought him back to the White House.
Since returning to the Oval Office, President Trump has not shied away from glorifying God. In a sharp contrast to his predecessor, he put out a strong gospel message at the beginning of Holy Week. He has also repeatedly credited God with saving his life. Most recently, the President marked the end of the first 100 days of his second term with worship and prayer in the White House.
This National Day of Prayer, we are thankful for leaders and a president who honor the Lord. We are also no longer the only nation praying, as Ukraine became the second nation in the world to institute a National Day of Prayer earlier this year.
Pray for the Lord’s plans and purposes for America to be fulfilled with us on this sacred day across our nation.

Praying that we would repent as a nation, a state (California), a county (San Diego) and a city (Fallbrook). Praying that we would be open to the Creator of the Universe, God Almighty, who wants to lead us back into right relationship with Him. I am thanking God for sending His Son for all who believe to receive forgiveness of sins and everlasting life in the presence of God. I pray that each person would realize just how much God loves them and wants them and values them and sees them as whole and righteous through His’ Sons sacrifice on the cross. In Jesus Name, Amen
We come before you and ask for peace. that peace that surpasses all understand to cover our nation from sea to shinning sea. We come before you and ask forgiveness for all our sins that we as a nation have partaken. We know Father God that our focus should be on You for our nation was founded in and through You. Let us not forget all the men and women that have fought and died for the freedom of this nation and for which we enjoy. Father God we ask for your peace, we ask for you forgiveness and we ask for your wisdom to continue making America great again. We ask for President Trump and his cabinets members divine protection and that the work you started with bringing President Trump back to office, You will bring to fullfillment. We cancel the work of the enemy and send all those plans to the pit of hell, for America will be save in Jesus name we pray.

Father, we come before your throne of grace, asking for your mercy and forgiveness for our many sins as a nation. We have called evil good and good evil. We ask for the cleansing of the cross of Jesus upon our land and that you would once again give us hearts of flesh that your Holy Spirit can abide with and in your people. Our Father in Heaven, I pray that You would cause ALL of the governors of each and every state to come into line with Your Truth and cease and desist forthwith from funding abortion factories with taxpayer dollars. LORD JESUS, please I beg YOU to intervene and put an end to the murder of precious little babies.
Father God, today we come before you in humble spirit, repenting of our repeated sins and asking for forgiveness. Matthew 3:2 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

For we are powerless against this great multitude which is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.”
Today is the day to choose whom you will serve. Joshua 24:14-15 āNow therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.ā
We ask for wisdom and guidance for President Trump. Proverbs 2:1-8 My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, 2) turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understandingā 3) indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 4) and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, 5) then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. 6) For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7) He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, 8) for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.
We lift up all people within our government to turn from the lies and deception of the enemy. Philippians 1:9-10 And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,
We pray for protection over our land. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Holy Spirit, equip us to be filled with with the Love of Christ, along with boldness to reach the lost around us. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self control.

Lord, we do not deserve it but thank you for the revival in our land now. May we love You and obey You with our whole hearts. Please pour out Your Spirit upon our land so that You may be glorified throughout the earth! Lord, we anticipate Your return coming soon. Help us to finish well on this earth.
Father, thank you for establishing this nation on Your Word of truth. We have strayed far from you during this past century, but You are answering our prayers to pour out Your Spirit again on our land. May the Church repent of its departure from the inerrancy of Scripture and stand firm once again on every word from Genesis through Revelation. May You revive Your people that we may lead others into Your kingdom for eternity. Protect and guide our leaders that they may walk in righteousness and bring glory to You. On this national day of prayer, I cry out to you to send revival to this nation. Please forgive us our sins and heal this land. The blood of the unborn cries out to you day and night! And now, the blood of babies outside the womb cries out to You for justice as states have passed laws to murder them up to 28 days after breathing their first breath! God have mercy! God have mercy! Only revival will bring righteousness to a nation and all of its leaders. Raise up leaders who will speak up for the innocent, vulnerable, and defenseless! In Jesusā name! Amen!š

YHVH, thank you for the opportunity to join together in prayer for our nation. Please meet with those who gather to pray, and guide them into prayer and intercession that honors You, Your Word, Your character, and Your plans and purposes for our nation – to have the mind of Christ, and therefore be like-minded. Where You find that, may You fall in power, Holy Spirit.

Iām praying for all immigrants
Leviticus 19:33-34 NIV
ā ‘When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.! Lord protect our government jobs to keep America safe. Protect our homeland security.
Just for clarity regarding what the Bible says about the stranger, the foreigner, and the sojourner, which are basically anyone outside of being an Israelite- when the foreigner came into the camp of Israel, God required them to be circumcised. That would prove their loyalty to the God of Israel through their submission to that requirement. It is quite a test (painful) for a grown man to be circumcised. That was their God-given immigration policy, if you will.
(see Ex. 12:43-49)
We have that same right in this nation to require that the foreigner, who would like to become an American citizen goes through the right channels in obeying our immigration laws.
Thank the LORD for the USA Pray that the prophetic Destiny for USA will not be diverted
Praise the Lord! We must honor God on this day and every other day. We are at a critical crossroad in American history with a president who professes Christ Jesus as Lord and savior. He is constantly under attack from political foes as well as people who blindly follow what main stream media tells them. Please, let us PRAY as if our lives depend upon it, because they do.
Thank you Lord for this opportunity to be in unity with other believers.
O Lord,
In the months following the attempted (and almost successful) assasination of President Trump, we have watched in real time the spiritual growth of this changed man. What a model of Christ’s redeeming power playing out on national TV before our very eyes.
O God – You are amazing – how You love us and this nation. You have given us this president for such a time as this – our nation has been on the brink of destruction, but YOU! You have intervened and answered the prayers of those who love You – may we, as intercessors for America, continue, especially today, to pray for this nation, our president , and our people – for salvation, for service to others, for victory against the enemy.

Father, this is a significant day in America, a set-apart day when Your church crosses denominational, cultural, and political lines, humbles herself, and prays together for our nation. It is so important that we set apart a national, government-honored day to seek You. America is in desperate need of Your guidance and direction. Forgive us for our national sin of rejecting You and neglecting to seek Your plans and Your ways. We have wandered far from You, yet You are merciful.
