Ukraine has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire. Will Russia follow suit?
From Fox News. Ukraine on Tuesday accepted a deal put forward by the Trump administration during a meeting in Saudi Arabia, a significant step forward in securing a ceasefire agreement and bringing an end to the war with Russia.

“We’ll take this offer now to the Russians, and we hope that they’ll say yes,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters.
Rubio, standing alongside national security advisor Mike Waltz, did not detail exactly what was in this agreement, but according to a readout provided by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s office, Kyiv has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire contingent on Moscow’s acceptance of the terms. …
In response to Kyiv’s willingness to accept Washington’s hard-fought preliminary proposal, President Donald Trump agreed to lift the pause on U.S. security assistance to Ukraine “effective immediately” and renewed U.S. intelligence sharing.

Father, thank you for this preliminary agreement. I ask that you give us an end to this war that will only swallow up Ukraine if it continues and will bring World War III about. I pray for Russia’s agreement and for wisdom for the final agreement.
This is temporary. It is a long way from an actual peace agreement.
What about the people who live in the areas where Russia has taken control. I guess Ukraine is supposed to just turn them over to Russia? Tell them to be good little Russia citizens??? Imagine if the United States turned over 20% of its territory to an invading army!
Lord, we pray that Putin will agree to a cease fire. We pray for no more loss of life. We pray that you give president Trump wisdom to come up with a deal that is beneficial to both sides.
Let us pray that Russia does not use Trump to gain time to build up his army and return to take the rest of Ukraine as well as other countries.
Agreeing to peace with the intent of maintaining peace: this, of course, goes against everything we know about him and his history.

God is a God of the Ukraine people and is the God of the oppressed. There is no glory in this agreement. Instead of Making America Great Again, MAGA has made America small and focused on self. We have lost our ability to inspire the world.
