About 20 national faith leaders gathered in the Oval Office yesterday for the signing of the initiation of the White House Faith Office. Members of the National Faith Advisory Board, including IFA CEO/President Dave Kubal, were present at the signing.
As in his last term, President Trump is committed to maintaining a faith-friendly environment across the federal government. This office makes sure that “people of faith will have a seat at the table” in the White House.
From Daily Caller. President Donald Trump’s new Faith Office has a list of priorities that it will tackle through policy writing, White House officials with direct knowledge of the initiative told the Daily Caller.

Trump announced his new Faith Office, which will be led by Rev. Paula White-Cain, on Thursday at the National Prayer Breakfast while touting his new plans to create a task force to end the anti-Christian weaponization of government. …
Working in tandem with the domestic policy center, White-Cain and her team will address poverty alleviation, religious liberty, strengthening marriage and family, advancing education, addressing substance abuse and addiction, crime prevention and reduction, supporting prisoner reentry and expanding health and humanitarian services, according to a White House official.
“People of faith will have a seat at the table to formulate the policies that are going to be going through, and that you’re seeing right now the president doing slowly, but we’ll be rolling all of those out,” a White House official told the Caller. …
Trump’s executive order creating his new Faith Office is expected to “complement” earlier presidential actions, including the creation of a task force aimed at eradicating anti-Christian bias and another that combats anti-semitism, an official explained to the Caller. …

are Issues and News among other items. Its really important to understand what this ” office” may include as their mission or duties for the faith based sector. Questions to ask are 1) who makes a final decision about any endeavor they are asked to be involved with 2) where is funding coming from, to utilize, and are they too going to ask for donations? 3) What if the three people listed in that group have a staunch belief God told them ” this is what you need to do,” and its three different ” the Holy Spirit told me…”
Its just recognizing the facts of these situations have been prevalent in so many good intentions of organizations, that they failed miserably, even the early churches the Peter and Paul wrote of in the New Testament. That even false teachers came in amongst them and divided to their destruction. One other example is of course John’s Revelation, and his lessons on the 7 churches.
No, this org will not be a “church group ” but, various representatives from various churches will be leading it. And, our principles based on God’s Word , do not always match up with some others. Just a sad realization in our
” denominational” world today. This was not supposed to be this way, Jesus Christ has only One Bride, His Church, the One He is coming back for. They were first called The Way in Acts 19:23, and we can learn from Acts, 1&2 Cor., Ephesians, 1&2 Timothy and so many other books in The New Testament how His Bride was to be, how to operate and be organized, how to take care of one another’s needs, how first of all to be a part of it, upon our salvation. And, also by their examples, how they took care of each others needs, never did they go to the synagogues or Roman government for help. Why?
Just a few thoughts for us to consider, in our prayers and understanding, and yes Thankful our President is trying to make a way for us to not be persecuted, and to be helpful in our ways and means in our communities.

Establishing the Faith Office is in itself an answer to prayer. This nation was founded on Christian principles and we absolutely need to bring God back to our country. The only way that will be done is through prayer… we need to let God know we absolutely need his help to make our country great again. It will be through His almighty guidance that President Trump will succeed. I give thanks and Praise to almighty God and am so thankful our President acknowledges how much we need Him.
Dear Lord. Ignite your flame into our faith based non profits organizations to help those who need you and restoration thru needed services. No longer Will our Government or culture suppress and refuse us our needed resources to accomplish our goals and to serve you as we give you all the Glory. Amen

I don’t think Paula-White Cain is the one to lead this because of her belief in prosperity gospel. Dave Kabul would be much better. I will pray for IFA to have a BIG seat and influence. I will also continue to pray for President Trump, that God would continue to use him and that he would truly become a Christ follower.

We will prosper and be in health as our soul prospers.
Other Scriptures refer to areas along that line. We are Children of the King. Kings Kids have good things. Just maybe MY Soul isn’t prospering as it should???

As a sidenote, I see a couple of people here who almost sound like naysayers. Governmental outreach? Into the church? Let’s just be happy that we have a president that wants to have Christian faith leaders at the table. We have just come out of the dark ages when it comes to Christian values and the government preceding, and we all should be extremely happy and excited that he was voted in and is making the things that he promised happen.

Do you see her tears of repentance? I cannot say I agree with her on everything, but then, who agrees with everything any of us do. Pray for Her to use Godly Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding in this position she has been appointed to.
Heavenly father, thank you for establishment of the faith office in the White House. We pray that the enemy will be held at bay from penetrating the core values of our faith. May those appointed be anointed by you to provide direction according to your will.
My prayer for this group is that they will truly be God seekers and listeners for His voice. I pray that egos will be left at the door, that true humility and love for God, family and country will be the motivating forces behind all decisions and that any of these 20 or so people will not be Judases bent on betrayal. Protect and bless President Trump mind, body and soul! Keep him well and focused on You. Speak to him daily and help Pres. Trump to lead the country as You would want him to. I thank God for Trump’s stance on Christianity! However, I do pray that this doesn’t become a governmental overreach into the Church. I pray the Church rise up and do her job in taking care of the poor etc., in cases where family is unable. We must remember that the authority we have to do good comes from the Lord, not from our government. What we need from the government is to get out of our way while we minister the delivering power of Jesus to those in need.
