Following pressure from Democrats, federal employees, and unions, the Trump administration has agreed not to expand access to the Treasury Department for the Department of Government Efficiency. What do you think of this decision?
From Roll Call. The Trump administration agreed in a late-night court filing Wednesday not to expand access to a sensitive Treasury Department payment system for “special government employees” working with the so-called Department of Government Efficiency.

The filing followed a series of phone hearings for the lawsuit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The case was brought by current and retired federal employee unions that seek to block allegedly unlawful access to government employee data and protect any data that the Department of Government Efficiency workers had accessed. Several lawsuits, as well as Democrats in Congress, have criticized the access given to allies of the Elon Musk-led DOGE, claiming it threatens Americans’ privacy and opens payments up to alteration.
Justice Department attorney Bradley Humphreys said on the calls that two “special government employees” at Treasury, Tom Krause and Marko Elez, have been given read-only access to that system in order to work with DOGE.
Humphreys said the two employees are meant to help carry out policy set by DOGE, a cost-slashing task force based in the White House. In the filing Wednesday night, the government agreed not to expand their access to the system or share information they have access to outside of the Treasury Department. …
The lawsuit, filed by the Alliance for Retired Americans, American Federation of Government Employees, and the Service Employees International Union, argued that just providing access to the system, part of the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, violated federal law. …
The plaintiffs had filed for a temporary restraining order early Wednesday to prevent further access to the Treasury system and protect any information that Musk or his allies had already accessed. …
The lawsuit is one of more than a half a dozen federal court challenges to actions taken by DOGE, ranging from access to the payment system to access to employment records and more.

From Ecclesiates 4:1-3
Evil Oppression
1 ” Then I returned and considered all the oppression that is done under the sun;
And Look! The tears of the oppressed, But they have no comforter–
On the side of the oppressors there was power,
But they have no comforter.” Therefore I praised the dead who were already dead,
More than the living who are still alive.”
3 Yet, better than both is he who has never existed,
Who has not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.”
Oppression from leaders, rulers, even lead aministrators or managers at the workplace, is nothing new under the sun. King Solomon, King David’s son, grew up not only under his father’s rule, but priests and prophets, and God’s commandments, as the rule of Laws that were to be obeyed in Jerusalem. And, with all his knowledge and wisdom, he was still a fallen man, just as his father before him. Yet, they still were men that wanted to not only know God, but obey and lead under God’s commandments. The final conclusion, by chapter 12:13
was ” Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”
So, these scriptures show us even though evil rulers have always oppressed the populations they were to lead. No matter what, Fearing God and keeping His commandments were the Whole duty of all humankind!
By obeying God, knowing Him and after Jesus Christ’s birth death and ressurection, we have a New Law that includes Salvation through Jesus Christ. This is our comfort, and a Promise that no matter what happens here & now, we have Hope even though evil trials and tribulation will continue until we are called home to eternity with Our Father and Jesus Christ.
This is a reminder, yes praying for our governing officials is right, but our hope and comfort is not for a righteous world to live in, or a better place here, it for our own walk and obedience, and our example to those around us, so that all have the chance to Learn, Know and Believe the Gospel in order to be saved, through Jesus Christ , Our Comforter Acts 2:1-41
As Solomon was observing all he had learned, no one had comfort just obeying laws , or just being the king of all, without knowing The True Comforter. So, understanding these principles, of God’s Word,
I offer this prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your Words of Wisdom, given to us through Your prophets of old and and the ones that followed after Jesus Christ’s teachings. Thank you that we now have the Old Laws to learn from, and The New Law through Jesus Christ to live by, as was promised,
Acts 2:33-40
39″ For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all those who are afar off,as many as The Lord our God will call.”
40″ And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, ” Be saved from this perverse generation.””
Thank you Father for helping us to see not only do we need saved from a perverse generation of our day, but your people needed saved from every perverse generation before us, and also now those afar off! Lord, please keep us strong,and aware of what we need to do besides pray for our leaders everywhere, not just in governing offices. Our world sure is oppressed and perverse, and our children and grandchildren are in danger without your help and guidance through righteous parents grandparents and teachers in their lives. And, Thank You Father for the True Salvation we can have no matter what chaos and evil surrounds us!
Please watch over us, protect each of us, Presidet Trump and his family and cabinet members, the congress and senate, and help each one that claims You as their Father, and Jesus Christ as their Savior to have wisdom in how to serve You and follow your commands and serve us who put them in office.
Please give us a time of renewal, and reprieve from the oppressors so that we can freely teach Truth and have time to reach many for the sake of their salvation through Jesus Christ before its too late.

Father in JESUS precious name we unite as a body of intercessors for the souls of those responsible for the recent influx of negative posts . We pray that the blood of the Lamb would overcome the evil of their hearts.
