Mike Waltz, who will serve as national security advisor under President Trump, revealed in an interview his belief that the 51 intelligence officials who signed a letter calling Hunter Biden’s laptop misinformation should face “consequences.”

Waltz reiterated that former intelligence officials, including the 51 former senior intelligence officials who signed the letter — which asserted without evidence that the materials contained within Hunter Biden’s laptop were the product of Russian disinformation — caused “real damage to our national security and to our institutions.” But he stopped short of confirming that they would revoke these individuals’ security clearances …
“I mean, they basically said, ‘We have high level clearances.’ So, that means the American people can’t see what they know. … So, essentially, they were saying, ‘Trust us.’ And I believe they horribly violated that trust,” Waltz told the Caller.
“That’s a sick irony that they were the ones saying that MAGA world was doing the damage. They’re the ones who did the damage. Everything from raiding a former president’s home to hiding that laptop to signing a fake letter that was put out by the Biden campaign on misinformation,” he continued. …
“I think they did tremendous damage and there should be consequences,” Waltz said. …

Oh my dear father in heaven, how I ask you for mercy over our nation. You are the only one that knows the heart of every man. While I pray Mercy Lord, I pray according to what you know and what you will be done where it concerns bringing justice.
I pray in the fear of the Lord asking Mercy for their souls asking my Lord, to be brought for us with mercy and truth. That you would take each injustice and speak to the heart of man. How we need to be saved and turn to you!
Please intervene for the sake of our children and grandchildren and their children.. in the powerful Name of Jesus we all pray amen.
Precious Father our eyes are on You! You know every detail of every image bearer’s heart , I ask that You stir in their hearts great remorse that will lead to repentance. Open their eyes to the wickedness of this sin as with all other sin. Bring these people to justice as You bring everything out in the open, laid bare.
Father, I pray justice will come. I also pray for repentance on the part of the officials that signed this letter. Open their hearts to truth.
I agree that the lying has to stop. Only using the law to confront this issue will set the precedent for anything else the evil workers would want to do. We must pray that God command the morning to shake the wicked off the face of the earth if they choose to not repent and turn from their wicked ways.

Yes, every one of the intelligence officials should be prosecuted to the FULLEST extent of the law. Our citizens must be able to trust our federal (state and local) law enforcement agencies to be working on behalf of the citizens of the US, not against them!!
Everything that’s been uprooted (exposed) of the swamp needs to be subject to accountability and consequences…otherwise, it will just re-root itself in some fashion, and likely affect the New Administration in a toxic way.

Waltz is absolutely correct. It’s not seeking retribution or being vindictive, it’s about truth and justice. Anyone in government who lies, for whatever reason, should face consequences. Morality and ethics are sadly lacking in many positions.
Doug, I wholeheartedly agree! Prov 6:16 These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an ABOMINATION to Him….then v19 A false witness who SPEAKS LIES, and one who sows discord among brethren.

They should lose all security clearances at the very least. They cannot be trusted to tell the truth, or protect our country. That is the definition of someone who should not have a security clearance!!
