Lord Jesus Christ, evil is such a harsh word, and yet Your Word uses it frequently to describe the opposite of good. While we are all capable of sin, I ask Your protection against those who call good evil, and evil good. Guard us from those who scheme against righteousness and from those who twist truth into lies to accomplish their evil intents. May Your holy angels hover ever near to eradicate fear and fight against dark, spiritual forces we cannot see. Help us cast down every imagination and thought that our enemy tries to use to exalt itself against You. In Your mighty and holy Name, and by Your authority, I pray. Amen.

Having viewed footage of the event from where Harris was standing it seems very unlikely that she could have clearly distinguished those words. There was heckling going on. Having seen the Fox News version where they spliced in close up vision and sound of the people involved you can distinguish the words. It would be reasonable to declare it not proven of the crime you accuse her and as an upfront Baptist Christian it would seems odd that she would react as portrayed by the ‘right wing’ media.

I am new to this. My wife just persuaded me to re-dedicate my life to Christ. Its been awhile since I thought about spiritual things. This morning at prayer breakfast, I told my pastor that Kamala hates Christians. He said that the dangerous one is Trump. He threatens violence against people who heckle him at rallies. He said these women were there to heckle and Kamala was right to refer them to another rally. Kamala is a member of a Baptist Church and gets advice from her pastor. He said Trump is threatening violence/revenge against his political opponents no matter what their faith, he threatens violence against many people which is much more dangerous. It is so difficult to know how to respond or what to believe.

Habakkuk had just complained to the Lord about the Chaldeans who were wreaking havoc on Israel. He said he said he would watch and look to see what the Lord would answer…..

HE DID.

“Woe to him who gets evil gain for his house…the stone will cry out from the wall and the beam from the woodwork respond….Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by iniquity!…the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Awake!’ to silent stone, ‘Arise!’..there is no breath in it at all…

Dear Lord You are God Almighty. I pray an abundant blessing on these young men who love You and proudly proclaim You. I pray the same blessing for all of us who KNOW that all of creation speaks of Your Glory. Thank You for Your Word, despite what the Chaldeans of the world believe. IT IS alive and active: penetrating, dividing, judging, teaching, rebuking, correcting, training, EQUIPPING….The Word of our God endures forever! Heaven and earth will pass away but The Word never will. John tells us, the Word became flesh and lived among them. He saw the glory of the One and Only Son, who came from the You, the Father, full of Grace and Truth. I believe this. Please Lord, give us leaders who believe Your Word and who know Jesus Christ is Lord. From the beginning, You foretold of His coming and He has told us of His return.
