While abortion rates fell in some places after the overturn of Roe, it seems the ruling did not have the effect conservatives hoped for. This is a helpful reminder that only God, not a law or a court decision, can mend our broken, sinful culture.

Who is praying on the wall?
Why? Because the number of American women getting abortions has actually increased since the right to abortion was overturned by the US Supreme Court in June 2022, according to new research.
Specifically, according to the WeCount study published this month by the Society of Family Planning, the number of abortions nationwide has risen significantly from 86,830 at the time of the reversal to just shy of 100,000 in March 2024.

Abortion is no more than a modern day sacrifice such as the Old Testament witnessed.

I think we all know that morality cannot be legislated. But that does not mean that because some will choose to disobey a law, that we should not establish it. That is irrational. As I said in a previous comment, if we only have laws that people will obey, then that would be a short list indeed – in fact, nonexistent. Adam and Eve only had one and still disobeyed it. It is the duty of governments to rule righteously, and that can only happen when a nation’s laws are based on His laws. Blessed is that nation whose God is YHVH.
At the same time, we do pray for heart and mind change for all people. We do pray for those who need help and righteous counsel to choose life for their babies – that they will receive it. We do pray that life would be valued – all life!

The beauty and value of the babies extolled
Boldly standing on behalf of the child
All the lies of the wicked were bravely reviled
Brave men and women marched out for life

Now evil has plans to steal our kids

God called His saints to take a bold stand

The problem is, women and babies have died since the fall of Roe.
Abortions have only increased as well.

Bad mistake!
The end of Roe unfortunately dovetailed with a downturn in the economy, thousands of illegals and human traffickers across the border and a relentless campaign by leftists to scare women into thinking all their rights will be taken away. Demonic things we need to pray against. Plus so many women and families are struggling to pay their bills. And my state has not taken a strong stand against it (yet). Praying they will.
The fall of Roe divided our churches and caused a mass exodus in our churches. IT destroyed families.

Thank you, Jacee. This is a prayer website so maybe we should look at how Jesus taught us to pray. See Luke 18:9-14, Jesus says we should pray, not saying, ‘thank God, I’m not like those other people….’
But with humility. But how many times do you see in the comments here everyone so self assured that we are right, we have the only way, our views are the only ones that are correct, everyone else is evil. ‘Thank God I’m not one of those evil democrats…’ Instead of thinking that maybe, a lot of people agree that the number of abortions should be reduced but laws are not the only way to reduce abortion or the most effective way to reduce abortion. As the article said, abortions have gone up since Roe v Wade is over. We are so quick to label anyone who disagrees on abortion as evil. But Jesus told stories like the parable of the Good Samaritan where the heroes were those that everyone else labeled as evil. I mean, this is a Christian web site, it is ok for me to quote Jesus, isn’t it?

I am arguing it!
It took many years to outlaw sanctioned slavery around the world. While slavery still exists in the dark shadows of an enlightened world, God-inspired people know it is a sin. I pray that the acceptance of abortion meets the same fate.

Here in Vermont it is Republican Primaries today. Governor Scott has no competition. He is a good governor, but he is for abortion. Please pray with me that God will open his eyes and reveal to him the truth. Even save his soul and give him power on the side of the right to the glory of God.
Lord, you know us in the womb. YOU are the GOD of LIFE all life comes from you. Forgive these murderous doctors and change their hearts. Forgive the women, who don’t realize how blessed they are to carry another life. Forgive us your people for not crying out to you. Help Us Dear Lord, We cry out for the unborn. You are our only hope.
