I Prayed have prayed
Lord, expose the truth. Keep our leaders open, honest, and transparent. If there remain complications for Secretary Austin, please heal him.
Reading Time: 3 minutes

UPDATE: It was revealed yesterday that Secretary Austin underwent a prostatectomy on December 22 to address his prostate cancer. He returned to the hospital on Jan. 1 after experiencing complications related to this surgery. Doctors drained fluid from his stomach to solve the problem, and he is currently recovering well. While he has been moved out of the ICU, he remains in the hospital.

The Secretary of Defense had surgery without informing his staff or his superiors, and ended up in ICU. Who was leading the critical DoD for the most powerful nation on earth during this time? How could this happen?

From Breitbart. Washington remained in collective shock on Sunday, as more information trickled out about Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin being admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit for days and failing to disclose it to the president, the national security adviser, members of Congress, and the public.

Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.

The lack of disclosure raised serious questions not just for Austin and his judgment, but also for President Joe Biden and how he could have been unaware that his defense secretary was partially incapacitated for several days — especially as military confrontation between U.S. troops and Iran-backed proxy groups is heating up in the Middle East. …

The U.S. had just last Wednesday warned Houthis to stop targeting U.S. military and commercial ships in the Red Sea, and the next day, the U.S. military conducted a drone strike that killed an Iran-backed militia leader in Iraq — raising questions now as to who ordered that strike.

Adding to the fiasco has been the Pentagon refusing to say why Austin was admitted to the hospital, citing a desire for “privacy.”

Austin on Saturday himself issued a statement saying he understood the media concerns about transparency and conceded he could have done a “better job ensuring the public was appropriately informed.” …

However, the statement did not explain why he had not told Biden, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. And a continuous drip of revelations has come out over the weekend, each seemingly worse than the one before.

On Saturday, CNN reported that Austin had not even told his own deputy — Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks — that he was hospitalized until Thursday, January 4, despite transferring some of his duties to her on January 2. …

Some DOD officials were reportedly told by Austin’s aides that he was working from home.

The lack of transparency has prompted outrage from Republicans and Democrats. …

Senators also raised questions over who was in charge of giving U.S. military orders while Austin was in the hospital — an authority referred to as National Command Authority, which is given to the president and the defense secretary. …

The public first learned of Austin’s hospitalization after Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder sent out a statement to the press around 6 p.m. ET on Friday, January 5, which said Austin had been admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for “complications following a recent elective medical procedure” on the evening of January 1. The Pentagon said he was “expecting to resume his full duties” that day.

Politico then reported that Austin did not inform National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan he was in the hospital until Thursday, January 4, and then reported shortly after that it was Sullivan who told Biden that Austin was in the hospital.

Hicks made “some routine decisions” on behalf of Austin, a spokesperson told the Hill. …

Again, why does this administration continue to operate with “secrets”…or should we call them what they are? – lies. Austin, I pray, gets well. I’ve never been a supporter of him, especially since his goal since coming out of retirement and accepting the appointment…was to reshape our military through DEI politics and policies. I simply cannot trust leadership that does the bidding of hell instead of doing the job they are supposed to. I will continue to pray for him but most of all, that he would wake up or be removed from his position & replaced by someone with actual military awareness instead of “political lemming” mentality. And by someone who puts God first instead of “policy”.

How can high ranking government officials not play according to the rules or their oaths? Its like our entire government has taken a “passivity pill” and no one gets marked for anything. Yes, I ask Lord that you heal our Secretary of cancer but heal our nation from this cancer of passivity, from wrong doing. The current administration can do “anything” and no one gets called out on it.
Our courts oppose the righteous, and justice is nowhere to be found. Truth stumbles in the streets and honesty has been outlawed. Isaiah 59:14
Lord, in the Kingdom it is forbidden there, it is forbidden here too!

Father, I do ask for You to heal Secretary Austin, body and soul, but also that every man and women in leadership in our government be held accountable for their actions. Father, please keep our nation safe from terrorists and anyone who would cause its citizens harm.

This sounds like dereliction of duty and he should be dismissed accordingly.

Dear LORD, how can this be that this man gives no account and yet had many dismissed from service regarding the COVID shots, even though they followed protocol in order to obtain religious freedom and this administration had no legal authority to do so? Father, I ask for Your Divine Intervention not only for Secretary Austin, but also for many service members. Please align what only You can and reveal the secrets surrounding this. I do pray for healing. I give You thanks for those service members who have offered so much for this nation, please bless them. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

I ask for fairness; if this were a Republican Administration the news media would be asking for heads to roll. President Biden has claimed his Administration to be an open book. May he reveal the facts and may justice prevail. GOD bless General Austin and our country.

Austin is not a good person. I pray for his removal.
Dear lord please remove Austin from the helm. He has lost his way and has put many of our men and women in harms way. Amen

There is always a chain of command and so I find it hard to believe someone wasn’t notified. This makes no sense unless it was emergency surgery and someone under him didn’t report his hospitalization. Truth is an endangered value in this world ~ especially in DC. Let’s pray for his speedy recovery and that all procedures will be reviewed so this doesn’t happen again.

If an employee misses the days work, he’s expected to call in sick. Multiple consecutive missed days often require a statement from medical personnel. To better notify Chuck similar to Claudine case failure to give attestation to authors of original material. Apparently, the secretary of defense is convinced that he is not working for us. Shouldn’t we formalize that relationship and terminate his employment?
O, Lord give us ethical servant leadership and uproot narcissistic prideful hypocrites from governmental service.
