On Constitution Day, we at IFA share this wonderful initiative with you.

Six months ago, we started an initiative to challenge the citizens of this country to read the Declaration of Independence, to learn of the risks taken and sacrifices made by the Signers, and then to sign the online version at www.sign1776.com. The inspiration for this endeavor came from a love of what this country once stood for, and a reaction to what it is quickly becoming. While we have watched this country slip further and further into the socialist abyss, never would I have anticipated the battle it would be to promote education and awareness for the original founding document of the United States. Reddit, Google, and Meta have been sandbagging, shadow banning, or outright blocking our outreach and marketing efforts.

Get involved in state level prayer with IFA.

The Declaration of Independence, drafted amidst the crucible of revolution, stands as a testament to the unwavering belief in the inherent rights of humanity. It eloquently asserts that all individuals are created equal and endowed with unalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Yet, despite its pivotal role in shaping the course of our nation, Big Tech is stopping the spread of the true meaning and relevance of this seminal document.

A few weeks ago, the National Assessment of Educational Progress report card was released, and what it revealed was staggering: only 13% of eighth graders were proficient in History, and only 22% scored that well in Civics.  These dismal figures, which are both marked declines, are not due to a lack of funding, as public spending on K-12 exceeded $840 Billion for FY2021. It is incredibly important to this Republic that the citizens understand the fundamentals of the American system of government. In this regard, our younger generations are failing.

The 4th of July is celebrated as our nation’s birthday, but there is another important date that I would like to point out: August 2nd, 1776, was when most of the Founders signed the document. Due to the war, and the nature of communication and travel during that era, not all signatures happened on that day, with a few happening over the next few months, and possibly one as late as 1781. With that, the precedent was set to attach signatures over time.

I humbly request that you help support our efforts by filming a video of yourself explaining your favorite parts of the Declaration, and then signing the enclosed hard copy replica. Posting this video to social media, with the hashtag #sign1776challenge and referencing www.sign1776.com would be extremely helpful for promoting the initiative.

We have been blessed with both Freedoms and a republic system of government that has survived time while providing methods for us to change who is running the government and what government policies are. It is my hope that you will join me and the tens of thousands of brave patriots who have already honored the original signers of the Declaration of Independence by signing, as we honor those brave souls who originally pledged to each other their Lives, their Fortunes and their sacred Honor.
