As encouragement to you, my female cousin, now in her 50s had come out as gay 30+ years ago. It broke her mother’s heart who was a believer, but unconditionally loved her daughter and her various partners over the years. When her mother passed recently, my cousin was cleaning out her mother’s belongings which included many various Christian books, Bible, devotionals, favorite scripture verses, etc., many which my cousin, in her deep grief, browsed while she reminisced about her kind and godly mother. The many years of prayer by her mother and famiky members including me, began to be fulfilled while she browsed the many books and verses her mother cherished, and my dear cousin was cut to her heart and soul with holy conviction and repented of her homosexual lifestyle and vowed to reman single and celibate in order to seek and find the Lord and Savior her mother cherished. She moved to another State to “start over” and to cut ties with her past, her gay friends, coworkers, neighbors etc and all who knew she had been gay. She wanted to start a new life where people would know her as a single female believer in Jesus Christ.
