Title 42 is gone, and the country is suffering. We need true solutions to fix our border. Prayer will make the difference!
From The Federalist. Whatever your view of immigration, there can be no doubt that the Biden administration’s border policies have been an abject failure. This is especially true of Title 42, the pandemic-era public health order that for the last three years, under both the Trump and Biden administrations, allowed border officials to expel illegal immigrants quickly back to Mexico.

Title 42 came to an end on Thursday when the Covid public health emergency officially ended, and its ending has coincided with what can only be described as absolute chaos along the U.S.-Mexico border this past week.
Border Patrol agents are now arresting more than 10,000 illegal immigrants every day. …
What 10,000 a day means is that our southwest border is collapsing. The Texas cities of Laredo, El Paso, and Brownsville have issued emergency declarations, as has New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott … has deployed a new National Guard unit, the Texas Tactical Border Force, to try to “deter” illegal crossings. …
That’s a step in the right direction, but as a long-term strategy, rolling out razor wire along stretches of the Rio Grande isn’t going to cut it. Neither is the Biden administration’s plan to send hundreds more U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) personnel to the border as part of a just-finalized new policy to process migrants within days of their arrival and deport them if they fail an initial screening. …
But the new Biden policy amounts to little more than a slap-dash propaganda campaign to make it look like the administration is doing something about the crisis. It might result in fewer illegal immigrants ultimately being granted asylum, but it does nothing to reduce the use of catch-and-release as America’s de facto border policy. …
What all of this reveals is that our entire corpus of immigration law is woefully defective and has been for many years. In the end, the only thing that will end the ongoing border crisis is to fix our asylum and immigration laws so they can’t be exploited by illegal immigrants making bogus asylum claims. If 30 people that are being abused in their homes illegally force their way into my home, please tell me how I’m responsible to provide them with shelter in my home, and food and to let them push me (like our homeless veterans) out of my own shelter? How in the world are Americans responsible to pay with our tax dollars for unvetted people that are in our country illegally? Why don’t we insist that they are returned to their own country until they come here legally? FATHER GOD please bring YOUR common sense to every official and Senator and Representative in America for them to put an abrupt stop to joe biden and his administration’s attempt to destroy America! Please move quickly on our behalf and stop this foolishness immediately in JESUS NAME! Amen!
Heavenly Father,
God of all creation, As I read of the statement “bogus asylum claims”, I thought, “Lord, give these people who are seeking a better life for their families the gumption and courage and ideas, wisdom to make a change in their communities in their countries.” Raise up righteous leaders in these poorer countries . Let them see escape to the US is not the answer. Further, I pray for Your intervention at the border. We understand we, as a country, have turned our backs on You. Yet, there are many who fear God and desire Your ways. Have mercy on Your people and on those who do not know You. Bring a revival of repentance and faith dear God in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
1.Our immigration laws are broken because a three-legged stool will not work if you only attach one leg. The democrats and some RINOS had immigration reform in the 1980s with amnesty, employer sanctions and a secure border. However, only amnesty was ever enacted. They are pushing for the same thing now. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
2. I have read that 71% of these people are going to Republican districts. The democrats want to flip Texas blue and rule the U.S. for generations. The RINOS want cheap labor for their businesses.
3. We cannot afford to fix the world. If the people that are spending so much money to bring these people here would spend that money to help these countries, everyone would be a lot better off.
4. Send a bunch of real constitutional judges. Ask these people these questions.
What is your name and where are you from?
How are you persecuted by your government?
Did you apply for asylum in any other country?
Did you pay any money to the cartels?
5.If they are not being persecuted for their religion, race, ethnicity or political opinion or they have not applied in all the countries they have passed through, bar them from the U.S. for at least 5 years. If they have paid the cartels any money, bar them from the U.S. for at least 20 years.
6. If an parent in the U.S. pays the cartel to bring their unaccompanied child to the U.S., they both go back to their country of origin. The parent is barred from the U.S. for at least 30 years.
7. For employers that cannot find enough employees, set up a program to bring temporary workers that can stay up to 30 years. The employers will be totally responsible both financially and legally for their workers who will be totally ineligible for government money. As temporary workers, they should be ineligible for citizenship or even counted in the census.
8. With the human trafficking, drug smuggling and violence along the border, Mexico through the cartels have already declared war against the United States.
Lord, show the U.S. government and Your people how to influence and change the governments and economies of our neighbors and central and south America. Though we should have done this long ago, it is expedient now that we do so. Show us, Lord, the answer to these problems. And, Lord, help our elected officials to stand up and do what is right and good for this country by not only upholding the law, but finding the appropriate changes to our immigration laws. Thank You. Amen.

Please pray for myself and for my friend (a 50 year old nurse). Our place of employment permanently closed during COVID. All online job advertisements specify “must speak Spanish” in the job descriptions. We only know basic Spanish phrases. And it is difficult to understand native speakers because they speak so quickly. Please pray that God opens the doors for employment for us so we do not have to learn another language fluently.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, pray, seek My face and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land.

What are the actual outcomes?
In short: Are these outcomes for good; or merely for the destruction of America- because evil always tries to destroy anything good created by God?
