With a potential government shutdown looming, Senators and Representatives sent a spending package to Biden’s desk. In this crucial time, let’s pray for wisdom for congress.
From Just the News. The Senate on Thursday passed a one-week spending package that would extend the deadline for lawmakers to pass a full-year omnibus package to Dec. 23.

In a 71-19 vote, lawmakers backed the measure, sending it to President Joe Biden’s desk as the House passed it in a 224-201 vote earlier this week.
Passage of the stopgap follows the announcement from party negotiators that they had reached “reached a bipartisan, bicameral framework that should allow us to finish an omnibus appropriations bill that can pass the House and Senate and be signed into law by the president.” …
[Some senators] expressed optimism that Congress would pass a year-long budget before the deadline.

Father God you will be done on Earth as it is in heaven father God give these people that run this government and awareness of what their position is Father God give them understanding they need to put you first the people that they serve and then put themselves last Lord because they are public servants father God we know why these people shut down we understand why they shut down the father God they need to do the job that you’ve assigned them to do and if they do not do their job and you have not assigned them to these jobs take them out father God and put people that will do their job correctly for the People by the people of the people in Jesus name I pray
