Twelve Republicans voted for this bill, and Biden is eager to pass it. We must pray that by God’s grace the House stops this.
From CBS News. The Senate on Wednesday advanced legislation that would provide federal protections for same-sex and interracial marriages, endorsing the measure in a bipartisan vote that moves it closer to becoming law.
Who is praying on the wall?
The 62 to 37 vote was a crucial test of support for the bill, called the Respect for Marriage Act. With the backing of 12 Republican members, the Senate easily cleared the 60-vote procedural hurdle needed to move the legislation forward. Drafters of the plan were optimistic it would garner enough backing from the GOP after a bipartisan group of senators made changes to the bill to protect religious liberty.

The Respect for Marriage Act repeals the Clinton-era Defense of Marriage Act and safeguards same-sex and interracial marriage by requiring the recognition of valid marriages regardless of “sex, race, ethnicity or national origin.”
Introduced after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade … the bill easily cleared the House in July with support from 47 Republicans. Though several GOP senators initially expressed support for the plan, Schumer agreed to postpone a vote on the legislation until after the midterm elections after some Republicans worried it would endanger religious freedom.
To assuage their concerns, the amendment ensures nonprofit religious organizations will not be required to provide services, facilities or goods for the celebration of a same-sex marriage, and protects religious liberty and conscience protections available under the Constitution and federal law. …
With the amendment, the bill will have to be taken up by the House once again before going to President Biden’s desk for his signature. The White House urged passage of the measure. …

When our minds are set on depravity, each new act drops us lower on the scum pole. Perhaps this is why some are bent on calling judgment upon a land consecrated to and covenanted with Creator God YHWH.

This bill is a disgrace before God! People who voted for this bill will be Judged by God!
Lord, remove all cobwebs of deception from every congressman’s eyes. Let them see the destruction, anarchy and chaos they are foisting on our country and most of all on children who desperately need a married mother and father to thrive socially, emotionally, financially, intellectually and spiritually. Let the speech and lies of those proposing this be confused and turn to nonsense. Close the lying lips.
Help those standing for truth and the laws of nature and natures God to clearly articulate these truths including the importance of religious freedom. Cause their influence to go far and wide. Use this to bring many to a saving knowledge of Jesus. the Creator God.

I believe we are on the threshold of God’s just judgement on American due to Marriage Ace, Gender issues. Only prayers of His kids seeking God’s intervention, power and strength can shut the new law from taking affect.

America continues to reject God’s order. America continues to compound sin upon sin. I was recently reminded of Deuteronomy 30, where Moses was concluding God’s instructions to Israel. Remember, because of Moses’ sin at Meribah, Joshua would lead the people of Israel into God’s promise. Moses’ time had come to and end.

Romans 10:8-10 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.
Lord please intervene in this situation and do not allow this ungodly piece of legislation to pass! Although this nation deserves judgment, we beg you for mercy and grace on behalf of the many born again believers who love you and love this once great nation. Please protect all who speak out on behalf of the truth of your Word.
