When criticized for focusing on abortion above more important issues like the economy, AOC claimed that abortion is an economic issue.

“Abortion is an economic issue,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a House hearing called by Democrats to discuss restrictions on abortion.
“Forcing poor and working-class people to give birth against their will, against their consent, against their ability to provide for themselves or a child, is a profound economic issue and it’s certainly a way to keep a workforce basically conscripted to large-scale employers and to employers to work more against their will, to take second and third jobs against their desire and their own autonomy,” she said.
Ocasio-Cortez was responding to comments from Rep. Jake LaTurner, R-Kan., who criticized Democrats for focusing on abortion instead of economic issues like inflation and energy policy.
She said it’s “disappointing” to hear that point of view from someone who has “never had to contend” with bearing a child. …

I pray that politicians, judges and abortion activists would have the scales removed from their eyes and see the truth in “Abba” Fathers words about killing, I also pray that the Holy Spirit would come upon them. As Jesus said they know not what they do.
Don’t women have to pay for abortions. Where does the money come from to murder your baby. Where is the joy forever from that child in your life that u destroyed and to others? Selfish yes

Did these women have sex against their will, against their consent? (Very, very few abortions are performed because of rape or incest.). There are consequences for breaking moral laws, and one of those is the possibility (even probability) of becoming pregnant. It has been many years since this culture has taught people to take responsibility for their actions. We need to get back to that.
God was so kind to give us the Ten Commandments and other moral laws. People who obey them save themselves an incredible amount of grief, loss, brokenness, and yes, money. That’s where we need to address the economic issue.
O Lord, fill our hearts with a humility and gratitude to embrace the loving commandments You have given us. Amen.

I think AOC’s claim about abortion being an economic is as shallow and self serving as all her other baseless claims. Her reasoning is completely ignorant…and senseless.

She has never given birth to a child. She needs to speak about things that she actually knows about. Before a person can consent to an abortion they should have to witness an abortion being performed and completed. Most of them would change their mind. I have given birth to a child and there is no way I could abort one.
