New Calling for Prayer and Action in Continued Rescue Operations in Afghanistan

(Washington, DC—September 01, 2021) Intercessors for America—a national grassroots organization uniting 300,000 citizens to pray and take action on the key issues confronting America—is announcing, a coalition effort in concert with The Mighty Oaks Foundation and other prayer groups across the nation. The campaign continues the focus on saving Americans and U.S. allies who are still in Afghanistan.

“The world’s cameras may be going away, but our duty to our people and allies in Afghanistan doesn’t diminish for a second. The American people’s united outrage over this issue—above all else—is driven by our failure as a nation to honor our word and keep our commitments. Our government may have failed us, but God will never fail us, and that is why we absolutely must pray and act until the mission is complete,” said David Kubal, President of Intercessors for America. “We encourage everyone to come, commit to urgent prayer, contact their leaders, and give to ongoing rescue efforts.” is mobilizing over 300,000 Americans to pray for the protection and rescue of Americans and allies from Afghanistan, and to continue to actively support the on-the-ground rescue efforts. The coalition seeks to see every American safely return home and honor the commitment to our allies.

Americans can get involved with by:

  1. Signing a Virtual Prayer Wall in which signers publicly commit to pray daily and specifically for the country of Afghanistan and the ongoing rescue efforts.
  2. Contacting elected representatives to challenge them to do everything in their power to rescue Americans and our allies from Afghanistan.
  3. Donating to the on-the-ground rescue efforts and resettling of Americans and our allies.
