The Honorable Mayor Ras Baraka called for a Citywide Day of Fasting and Praying today Tuesday, March 31, 2020. It began at 6 am and will end at 6 pm. The details for the praying and fasting are located in the shared documents, Please, read and pray and fast with us as the LORD leads you. There are prayer topics listed for every 1-2 hrs of the fast. I also Pray for your health and safety.

Welcome and thank you for joining the group. Currently, it is election time in Newark. We are praying for peaceful and fair elections. We are also praying for the health and safety of all the candidates for Mayor and city council. We are also praying for the Board of Education- local control has been restored and there are many decisions to be made. We have also began praying against violence and for a decrease in crime as the summer months approach. We have been praying scriptures during the morning prayer call- the scriptures have come from an online resource. I will upload just the scriptures for prayer a little later.
