Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers Vetoes Pro-Life Bills, Including Bill to Ban Abortions on Babies With Down Syndrome

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers vetoed five pro-life bills Friday, blocking life-saving legislation that could save countless babies’ lives.
A pro-abortion Democrat, Evers repeatedly has vetoed pro-life legislation that would protect born and unborn babies and ensure that women receive information about alternatives to abortion and the support available to parents who choose life for their unborn babies.
The AP reports the bills that Evers vetoed Friday included legislation that would protect unborn babies from abortion discrimination based on their sex, race or a disability diagnosis such as Down syndrome.
“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again today: As long as I’m governor, I will veto any legislation that turns back the clock on reproductive rights in this state — and that’s a promise,” the governor said in a statement Friday on Twitter… (Excerpts from LIFENEWS.COM)
