Add West Virginia to the list of states where babies are protected from abortions following the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. The state is now abortion-free after the last abortion business there has stopped killing babies in aboritons in anticipation of the state quickly passing a law to ban abortions.

West Virginia does not have a trigger law that has gone into effect like several other states, but it is expected to quickly pass a pro-life bill banning abortions.

According to an AP report, “Katie Quinonez, executive director of West Virginia’s lone abortion clinic, whose staff spent the day calling dozens of patients to cancel their appointments.”

“It was the risk of prosecution under a 19th-century abortion ban punishable by prison that led the Women’s Health Center of West Virginia to stop performing the procedure. West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice, a Republican, said he will not hesitate to call the Legislature into special session if the ban needs to be clarified,” it continued… (Excerpt from LIFENEWS.COM)
