Kinder Morgan, an energy company that supplies fuel to Las Vegas and parts of California shut down due to a leak at a pumping station in Long Beach, CA, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

Vegas is busier than usual this weekend because of the Super Bowl.

Clark County released a statement on the pipeline leak:

“Clark County emergency managers are aware of a leak in a Kinder Morgan gas pipeline in California. This pipeline feeds gas storage facilities in Southern Nevada with unleaded and diesel fuel. We are currently monitoring the situation, believe we have adequate supply, and do not anticipate an immediate impact on gas availability.”

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported:
