The United States Senate approved this morning – out loud – the legislation that would amend the Promesa law to prevent conflicts of interest in the process of restructuring the public debt of Puerto Rico and of the contractors of the Oversight Board Fiscal (JSF).
The measure was ratified just at the close of the 2021 sessions. Because the bill was amended in the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, it must return to the consideration of the House of Representatives, where the original version has been approved. twice.
