A church and a Catholic ministry in Nebraska both received violent threats over the weekend, including a note that threatened to “shoot” pro-lifers with “AR14 rifles” from the radical pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge.

The Catholic News Agency reports the Newman Center at the University of Nebraska-Scott campus in Bellevue received the death threat Saturday morning ahead of a pro-life event with Students for Life of America.

On Saturday afternoon, Christ Community Church in Omaha received a second threat of violence, also signed by “Jane’s Revenge,” according to WFIN 1330.

Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life, said they immediately called police and scrambled to find another location for their event. The meeting was to discuss passing pro-life ordinances to ban abortions in local cities and towns in Nebraska.

Hawkins shared a photo of the handwritten threat, taped on the Newman Center doorway, which read: “If our right to abortion in Bellevue is taken away due to the attempt to pass an abortion ban and it gets passed[,] we will shoot up your Newman center with our new AR14 rifles. Sincerely, Jane’s Revenge.”… (Excerpt from LIFENEWS.COM)
