Tom Cole (R)

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Tom Cole has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Representative Cole is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Oklahoma and the United States of America. In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord, this is the day that You have made. Lord, Tom Cole is the man You have entrusted with the office and responsibility of Representative in the state of Oklahoma. Lord, we ask that You guide his steps and guard his heart. Make in him a trustworthy servant of the people he represents and serves, but above all, may he be a trustworthy servant of the living Lord, seeking Your heart, Your wisdom and Your instruction in all his ways. Father God, bless and empower Representative Cole in any and all endeavors to just that. Of all the voices seeking to gain his attention, may Yours be the loudest and most profound and the one that consistently gains his attention. We ask a hedge of protection around Representative Tom Cole and all that concerns him as he works to faithfully serve his state, this nation and You. This we pray in the authority and power of the name of Jesus, on whose shoulders eternal and just government rests! Amen

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Rep. Cole know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.

Father, In the Precious name of Jesus, Lamb of God so precious. I stand forth in prayer for this servant of the people. Father protect from every lie, trick and deciet of the enemy. Cover family, loved ones, staff, and their families with the wings of the Almighty God. Defend their health, persons, and properties. Keep them in safe. Make straight their paths. Give to them all the Wisdom of Soloman and the heart of David. May the prayers of your people remove the obstacles in their paths. Light their way in darkness. May their constituents prosper in the times ahead. Amen.

Father, Please continue to bless and guide Representative Cole as he works to bring our government back to its formidable status, one of integrity and respect, and as the leader in the free world. Bless his stand for the rights of the unborn and for the support and protection of all children, particularly in their school settings. May he continue to protect the rights of parents to guide their children and stand up for their rights, safety and welfare. As a parent himself and a former educator, he is keenly aware of the needs of the children and the importance of a quality and moral education. Continue to grant him discernment and clarity as he works with the school system throughout his state to ensure that all children are able to have a quality education. Bless him, Lord, as he works to build up the nation, rather than bring destruction upon it. Protect him and his family, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lord, I pray for Tom Cole to have a reverential fear of You and to always put You first in his leadership decisions for this Country! In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Dear Father, please surround Representative Cole with the knowledge of Your will and supernaturally move in his life and heart. Draw him close to You. Bless his family and please protect them from threats and harm. Keep them well in health. Lord, direct Your servant in the way he should go. Let him keep his eyes firmly on You, the Author and Finisher of his faith. May be uphold the Constitution of the United States and our covenant with this nation and the nation of Israel. May he be drawn to You and focus on how You instruct and reprove wrong decisions. Help him not to be swayed by wrong leaders or erroneous thinking, but let him study to show himself approved, a workman who needed be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen and amen.
