Mike Rogers (R)

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Representative Mike Rogers. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Representative Rogers. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Mike Rogers be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Alabama and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the House of Representatives. Lord, I lift Alabama Representative, Mike Rogers, before You. I pray that he would realize & know Your great love and sacrifice for him. I pray that his eyes would be opened to Your truth and his heart open to Your leading. I pray that he would seek Your face and live in the light of Your salvation that is lovingly offered to him. I pray that he would trust and know You above all else and so walk in wisdom, peace and righteousness that these things ultimately mark his life and service. In Jesus' Name and authority, Amen

Dear Lord, I do not know this man or anything about him, but PTL you do, so I implore that Your Holy Spirit will be working in and around the life and circumstances of Representative Mike Rogers. I pray that he might be a man of faith, or that he might open to the working and calling of Your Spirit, who will seek your wisdom, guidance and leadership; that he will seek you for his strength and sustenance for the choices he makes, the decisions and words that he shares as a representative of the people. I pray, Father God that your Spirit will be working in and around his life of and his position. Surround him with people of strong principles and truth for their working platform and their agenda for the citizens of their state and the entire USA. "For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." (Luke 21:15) Thank you, O' Lord for hearing our pleas and may Your Holy Spirit be at work cleansing our land and our government. May Your people be strong and bold, standing up for truth and goodness for all and striving to honor you in all they do. Thank you Oh God for hearing our pleas, our petitions for our representatives. Do a powerful work in the halls of Congress that there would be more calling on your name and your wisdom. Please continue granting your Grace to America and effect a change of spirit, of attitude and direction.

Heavenly Father, please give Rep Rogers your precious wisdom.

Heavenly Father, we Pray Representative Mike Rogers is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Rogers sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Father, I lift up Representative Mike Rogers. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he seek you for wisdom. May he not serve for money or power, but with the realization that he is serving you. Open his heart and mind to the emptiness of his life without you. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness that he may repent for sin and come to you through Jesus Christ, Savior and Creator. Protect him and his family.
