David Weeks (D)

Father, I pray that Rep. Weeks would hear this word of God day and night. Implant it in his soul, mind. Show him the direction in which he must go according to Your Word. May he become Your servant and by these words be warned to do what is right and just. Let Your Word be planted in him and around him. Ps. 19 The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. 2 Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech, nor are there words; Their voice is not heard. 4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their utterances to the end of the world. In them He has placed a tent for the sun, 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber; It rejoices as a strong man to run his course. 6 Its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end of them; And there is nothing hidden from its heat. 7 The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether. 10 They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. 11 Moreover, by them Your servant is warned; In keeping them there is great reward. Amen

God of all wisdom and knowledge, provide Mr. Weeks with Your wisdom and knowledge for all his work for the people of his district. Give him ears to hear, eyes to see, and the ability to make decisions that are for the good of all the people according to Your will and Your ways. Lord, cause him to draw near to You and cry out for the help he needs in this day and time. Protect him from evil. Help him to stand for justice and righteousness, for these are the foundation of Your throne. Amen.

Father, grant Rep. Weeks peace and rest. Grant him wisdom, courage, knowledge, and most of all, help him to obey Your Word in every bill presented. Help him to stay true to You and Your word in all his work. Light his path. Help him to listen to Your voice in the din of all the voices. Help him to do what is right in Your sight. Amen.

Father, grant Rep. Weeks rest and refreshment during this holiday season. Lord, draw him near to Yourself and renew His faith, His commitment to You. Grant him peace in this season. Give him fresh vigor for the work ahead. Lord, help him to have the courage and conviction to stand up for Biblical values in every area of government. Provide wise counsel, wisdom, knowledge, and light upon his path. Thank You, Father, for using him for Your purposes in our government. Work through him so that our state and county will be a sanctuary state and county, a Biblical sheep state and county. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lord, grant Mr. Weeks wisdom, insight, supernatural knowledge for all he is doing in his state job. Let him hear Your voice saying go this way or that, choose this path, make this decision. Where he is weak, cause him to look to You for help. Protect and guide him in all he does for the people of his district. May his work glorify the Father in heaven. Amen.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Lord, cause Rep. Weeks to look to You in all he thinks, intends and decides. Grant him wisdom, strength, courage and uprightness of heart. Help him to do what You want him to do. Show him the right way to go. Protect him from evil. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Father, I pray that Rep. Weeks would hear Your voice saying, "Go this way." Grant him courage and boldness to stand for righteousness, justice, and to uphold state and national constitutions. Give him a keen eye to see what the needs of his state and constituents are. Protect him from any sort of pressure by corporations and special interest groups. Grant him wisdom from above. Protect him and his family in their going out and their coming in. Give him a servant heart. For Your glory, Father. Amen.
