We pray (first of all, according to 1 Tim. 2:1-4) for all people, especially those in positions of power and influence. Lead them to know You personally and intimately, to create just laws and abandon unjust ones; to make just rulings; to establish real enforcement that brings tangible change to mitigate social vices and bring wholeness; to create a fair and equitable society so we can live peaceful and quiet lives according to Your Word and promise. "Whereas we all came to these parts of America with the same end and aim, �namely, to advance the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ,� and to enjoy the liberties of the Gospel thereof with purities and peace,� and for preserving and propagating the truth and liberties of the Gospel." ~ John Winthrop, the first governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony,1643.

May Chris be guided by the Holy Spirit and be granted the gift of wisdom and the courage to do what is right in the eyes of God always.

Father God, I lift Chris up to you, Lord, and I ask you to make him Your vessel. I ask You to cover him with Your protection, wisdom, and understanding. I pray he will be faithful to following You and Your Will. I pray that You provide for him and his family and that the evil one will have no dominion over him. Guide him into fruitfulness according to Your plan. Thank you for Your faithfulness and goodness, Lord, in Jesus' holy name, Amen.

Father God I pray for senator Pappas that you would give him wisdom and insight in Revelation as to how to best represent his constituents. That you would help him to know what your will is through the reading of your word and through prayer and worship. I pray that he would rely on you and those that are close to you seeking Godly counsel on how to lead in Jesus mighty name

Bless Chris with your guiding Presence and lead him to the place in his life where he can be found by You.
