May his heart be filled with compassion for those he serves and his mind with the wisdom needed to make decisions that uplift and unite the community. Grant him strength and perseverance in his endeavors, and surround him with support and encouragement. May he continue to be a source of positive change, always seeking to make a difference with humility and grace. Amen."

Father, thank You for the dedication Representative Downing has for working with Congress to ensure the needs of his constituents are met as well as working with his fellow legislators for the needs of America. Give him wisdom and clear direction in working to make sure that our military is strong and our borders are safe. As a veteran he understands the needs of our active military and support needed for our veterans. As a former educator he understands the needs of providing a proper education to our children without improper and immoral content. May he support the teachers and the parents as they work with the children, as well as insuring their safety while in school. May he walk with integrity and a strong moral compass in legislating any laws. May he continue to defend our Constitution and protect the sanctity of human life. Bless him in Jesus' Name. Amen.
