Laphonza Butler (D)

Father God, again a person I do not know how to pray for; Lord I repent for not having true love in my heart for these Democratic representatives as I attempt to bring them before your throne. I just do not know how to pray for them, since they have such different ideologies and most often different moral compass. I do not know this person, Laphonza Butler, or her heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit her, and all the Democratic Congressional personnel that I cannot relate to, to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of their eternal soul and life, that they might be redeemed and might make a positive impact on other lives they encounter Please, Lord God, take my mumbling and stumbling and turn it into good for the lives of these people; draw them unto yourself and Your purpose for their lives. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this woman that You would do a work in her life, in her heart that she might see Your Will and discern your direction for her and her purpose and mission in Government. May she open her heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of false, harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. Thank you o' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; I pray You do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit to bring awakening and renewal to the hearts of the people unto Yourself.

Heavenly Father, I pray that you will grant Laphonza courage to do what is right in all situations, even when she has to stand up against others in her own party. Give her clarity, discernment and wisdom. Give her godly friends who will be good mentors to her. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Laphonza Butler has taken deep root. We pray she has been convicted to see herself as You see her, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at a time such as this (Esther). We pray that Senator Butler is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray she be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that she is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as she represents California in the United States Senate. Father, I lift up Senator Laphonza Butler. Thank you for her service to our country and to you. May she seek you for wisdom and not serve for money or power but as serving you, Creator and Savior. Give her repentance and sin and lead her to faith in Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life. Protect her and her family.

Father...you place leaders in positions they are in. I pray that you will show yourself to Laphonza giving her your wisdom. Guide her to use your wisdom in decisions everyday for the good of California and America. Guard her heart , show her your love, mercy and grace daily. In Jesus strong and mighty name.. Amen
