Lord God, Heavenly Father, forgive me my struggles to pray for democratic representatives. I just don't know how to pray or what to pray for people with whom I have ideological, historical, cultural/lifestyle, spiritual differences of understanding government and America, so I commit them to you for your working in their lives and their mindset. Only your spirit can bring understanding and common ground. I thank you God that you love each of us and you have provided Jesus, our Savior, our Counselor and guide for all. I pray that Your Spirit will be working in and around the life and circumstances of Representative Jenn McClellan; That she will open her heart and mind for your wisdom as she sits in Congress and represents the people. Thank you, Lord God, for hearing our pleas and petitions; may Jesus, our advocator take our mumblings and moaning unto your throne for your working and perfect will for Ms. McClellan. May it be your desire and your will to keep your hand on America and to sweep the land with Your Spirit for awakening, repentance and renewal. I pray for a spirit of awakening, renewal and restoration for America and for your working and your will in the upcoming election. Guide and direct Your people and may many many be prompted and directed to vote. Thank you, Lord and Father for hearing our pleas, our mumblings .

Gracious Lord, We pray for Representative Jennifer McClellan as she serves the people of Virginia's 4th District. We thank You for her passion for advocating on behalf of small businesses, postal service reforms, and clean energy investments. As 1 Peter 2:17 reminds us to honor those in authority, we ask that You bless her efforts in promoting transparency and accountability in government services. Strengthen her resolve as she addresses critical issues affecting her constituents, from postal delays to economic development projects like Topsoe's clean energy facility. May she continue to be a voice for the voiceless, and may she lead with compassion and righteousness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
