Father God, Take special note of this elected servant. One who by aclimation of the people he reprisents has been placed in office to reprisent their needs, values, and standards before the nation and the world. Bless him, his house, his staff, and those he reprisents with, safety, health and welfare. Grant him great wisdom to know as the men of Issachar what the nation should do. Make clear the motives of those that seek his vote. Let every lie, half truth, or hidden agenda fall to ground before him. Preserve his honor and the reputation of his judgement. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen

Father God, thank You for Senator Ricketts and his bold stand for the sanctity of human life and proper education with parental oversight, further preventing government control and influence. He understands and upholds the strength of the Constitution and that our nation is One Nation under God. May Your word be a lamp unto his feet and a lamp unto his path. Give him godly counselors who will support the people of this nation and make moral decisions, who walk in honesty and treat people justly. Give him clarity and guide his steps as he seeks to secure our nation's borders and protect the sovereignty of our country. Encourage him and strengthen him with a strong resolve to always do the right and moral thing in response to every challenge he faces. Bless him and keep him. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Pete Ricketts. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Ricketts to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Pete Ricketts is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Father God, I do know of this person, but I do not truly know how to pray for him; I do not know his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Senator Pete Ricketts to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and his life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters and in the work he does. Lord, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. He is a Republican, but I am not sure if he is a true conservative who strongly supports Pro-America, Pro-religion/Judeo-Christian ideals and Pro-Constitutionalism. So I pray God give him understanding and discernment and grant him real wisdom. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his life and his purpose and mission in Government and as a legislator. May he open his heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. Thank you o' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw your favor and sustainment, but sweep the nation with the power of Your Spirit for cleansing.

Father, we thank you for forming this nation as a beacon of light, a city on a hill. Thank you for the leaders of each state who wrote into their constitutions an acknowledgment of and dependence upon You. We pray now for today's government leaders and we lift up our leaders here in Nebraska to You. Guide them to make decisions that uphold Your wisdom, biblical truths, justice, and righteousness for both Nebraska and America. Give us legislators and judges who diligently acknowledge reliance upon you and your statutes. Restore our covenant as a nation "under God" with You again to fulfill our destiny as You bless us, so we can also be a blessing to the world. Bless Senator Pete Ricketts we ask and pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
