Father I pray for Eric Matthews. Thank you for his service to Montana. May he seek you for wisdom and walk in integrity. May he not serve for money or power but out of love for our country and our Constitution. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and life with you through Jesus Christ, Creator and Redeemer. May he value life, especially that of unborn children, and desire to see them live and grow. Protect him and his family.

Father God, I know You hear our prayers and are attentive to us. Your answer is always 'yes' and 'amen'. I pray for Representative Eric Matthew's today. Father, my prayer is that he knows You and has a saving relationship with You. Remove any vales from his eyes that has been placed there by the evil one. Show Representative Matthew's truth. The truth. Not the party agendas but Your truth Father. Open his eyes so he is able to make God edifying decisions. God, I pray he knows the wisdom of the Bible. Give him a strong desire and hunger to read Your Word. Place Christians around him as a support for him. Give him wisdom, courage and witty ideas to help lead our nation in the way You Father desires. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Eric Matthews. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Matthews to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Eric Matthews is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.
