Father God only you know the mission for Senator Schmitt. Father only you know his heart. I pray that the stones that are placed in Senator Schmitt to trip him or delay him form completing his mission be removed. I pray that he only trust in Your light to shine direction for his path. Let his yes be yes and his no be no, after seeking wisdom from the Holy Spirit. Give him supernatural vision to spot the goats from the sheep. Remind him to anoint his office coming and going with oils and prayer, sweeping out the evil that may leak in throw letters, emails, and internet. Let him be deaf to false teachers. Dear Father, We pray for your servant, Eric Schmitt. Go before him and be his rear guard (Is. 52:12); encamp Your angels 'round about him (Ps. 34: 7) with the blood of Christ upon him (1 John 1:7); cover him with your pinions (Ps. 91:4); and uphold him with Your righteous right hand (Is. 41:10). Father, your Word says that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Cause your servant in Congress, Eric Schmitt, to stay under Your shadow and to dwell in the safety of Your shelter. For you, Lord, are his refuge and fortress. You, God, are the One in whom he trusts. Extend this protection and safety to his family and hold them in your safekeeping. Father, let Eric be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving make his requests to You. Give him Your wisdom in his considerations. Guide him in his daily decisions. Let him be a light in a dark place and let him stand up for You in Congress and be a bold witness for You. Fill him with your unfailing love. Give him a strong body and mind, and keep him and his loved ones in health and vigor. Let him fulfill the mission You've given him, and run the good race set before him. I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Eric Schmitt. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christians who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Schmitt to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Eric Schmitt is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.
