Summer Lee (D)

Lord Jesus, we lift up Summer who is representing the 12th district in Pennsylvania. Open her heart to hear and respond to the gospel message, if she doesn't already know You. Teach her how to trust in You and not her own thoughts, especially on important issues. Help her to carry out her duties with humility toward You and others. In Jesus' name, I pray.

Father, I bring Representative Lee before Your throne of grace and ask for You to draw her to Your side. Please reveal Yourself to her and open her eyes to see truth with great clarity. Our nation is in great need, and as I stand in the gap seeking repentance for the lawlessness, moral depravity, and sheer evil that has been unleashed in our nation, I ask that You would send laborers to minister to this young woman, counselors who would boldly stand for righteousness. She clearly has a desire to help her constituents and to see all treated in fairness, but she has strayed from Your path. Please Lord, may she not lean to her own understanding but seek Your will and direction in all matters concerning this nation. I ask Your blessings over her and her family. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Representative Summer Lee. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Representative Lee. Enable her to see herself as You see her (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble herself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of her sins, transgression and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone she has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11;25). If she does not know You as her savior, we pray she would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Representative Lee be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as she serves the people of Pennsylvania and fulfills her duties and responsibilities in the House of Representative. Heavenly Father, we Pray Representative Summer Lee is convicted that she is created in the Your image; woven together in the womb of her mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at a time such as this time (Esther). Lord God, we pray she be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2)) and to demand of herself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray she is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action she takes against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Representative Lee sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May she be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev.14:6). We pray that she is convicted that she must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God"(Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Father God, Take special note of this elected servant. One who by aclimation of the people she reprisents has been placed in office to reprisent their needs, values, and standards before the nation and the world. Bless her, her house, her staff, and those she reprisents with, safety, health and welfare. Grant her great wisdom to know as the men of Issachar what the nation should do. Make clear the motives of those that seek her vote. Let every lie, half truth, or hidden agenda fall to ground before her. Preserve her honor and the reputation of her judgement. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen

Dear Father, I ask Your blessing on Representative Lee. I pray that she knows You and the hope to which You have called her. She has worked very hard to ensure the rights of the people she serves. She is concerned that all are treated fairly and with equal rights, but Father she doesn't understand that You value all life, especially the lives of the unborn who are defenseless in speaking for their right to live. Please provide clarity about life and the sanctity of it. Open her eyes to the truth of Your word and draw her by the power of Your Holy Spirit to know the truth that will set her free and others to be truly free. Encourage and strengthen her as she works with Congress to determine the answers for questions concerning immigration, energy and conservation, security of our borders, and all the many challenges this nation is now facing. May she seek Your counsel and not lean to her own understanding or follow the lead of another. Give her wisdom and discernment to clearly understand and make decisions that will honor Your word. Watch over her and keep her safely in Your care. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.
