Father, I pray for Representative Lanting. May he seek your wisdom for decisions for Idaho. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a desire to walk with you in truth. Give him repentance for sin in his life. Protect him and his family.

Father God, Take special note of this elected servant. One who by aclimation of the people he reprisents has been placed in office to reprisent their needs, values, and standards before the nation and the world. Bless him, his house, his staff, and those he reprisents with, safety, health and welfare. Grant him great wisdom and understanding of the times to know as the men of Issachar what the nation should do. Make clear the motives of those that seek his vote. Let every lie, half truth, or hidden agenda fall to ground before him. Preserve his honor and the reputation of his judgement. Father, thank you for Representative Lanting and for his desire to meet the needs of his constituents honorably and responsibly. May he be valued for his service as part of the US military and a defender of our national security. Give him wisdom and Your strategy for strengthening the agricultural wealth of the State of Idaho as it serves to provide food for all. Give him boldness and courageous to stand up for those who cannot speak up or stand up for themselves. May he protect our children, value life, and protect the Constitution on which this country was made. Give him a strong resolve to stand with Israel in her time of crisis. Bless him and his family. Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Greg Lanting has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Representative Lanting is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Idaho in the House of Representatives. In Jesus name, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Rep. Lanting know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know that You alone are sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant an understanding mind to govern your people, so that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight, and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Please help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.

Lord God, the intercessors of our nation raise the health, safety, and needs of this public servant before you in prayer. Grant unto him the wisdom as Soloman had in political and personal things. Give true insight into the future effects of every issue brought before him. Light his pathway in truth and provide him a just balance of the truth in all things represented to him. Amen and Amen.

Lord, may Your hand of mercy and grace rest upon Representative Lanting as he seeks to serve the people of Idaho. Give him wisdom and clarity to perform his duties and a heart for the people. As a former school teacher he understands the importance of a moral education, so may he stand with parents and teachers to ensure that the children not only receive a quality education but that their personal safety is always is all important. May he always walk in integrity and seek to uphold morality in all areas of government. Open his eyes to deception and error, always following truth and justice, regardless of what another may do. Give him courage to always do the right thing. Bless him I ask in Jesus' Name. Amen.
