Father God Almighty, I pray for this public servant in accordance with your holy word that ��The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of God's calling in you.( Eph 1:18 )... And that your wisdom be as the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what their nation ought to do; (1Ch 12:32). For these are troubling and confusing times for our nation and this fine servant of the people deserves our prayers that the very best decisions be clear, that confusion be driven away. Let her hearing discern rightly if the truth or vanity is in the presentations before him. That she have confidence in the right decision in all things brought before her. Lord Jesus in your mighty name we pray for the health, safety, and prosperity of your servant, her family and loved ones, her staff, and those she represents. Prosper her constituents that they may contribute to the general welfare of his state and our nation, In Jesus name. Amen, and Amen.

Father, thank You for Representative Cherfilus-McCormick's desire to bring strength and unity to our nation as a member of Congress. Give her the wisdom she needs to make godly decisions that will impact our nation for good. Give her courage and boldness to stand up for what is right and just and morally sound. Open her eyes to the truth surrounding every situation, so that she will make sound and informed decisions based on truth and not on popular demands. May she walk in integrity, humility, and grace putting the welfare of others before her personal preferences. Lord, teach her Your ways and give her peace that transcends all understanding. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father, I pray for Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick. Thank you for her service. May she not serve for money or power, but out of love for our country and our Constitution. May she humbly seek you for wisdom and a life with you through Jesus Christ, Creator and Redeemer. Give her a love of unborn children and see them as a gift from you. Protect her and her family.

Father, I pray for Representative Cherfilus-McCormick, her eyes to be enlightened, and she would understand what is the hope of her calling in Christ Jesus. I pray that You would reveal Yourself to her in a new and powerful way. That her heart would be turned towards you and that you would help her to lead righteously and courageously as you direct. That her name would be written in The Lambs Book of Life!

Heavenly Father, we Pray Representative Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick is convicted that she is created in the Your image; woven together in the womb of her mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at a time such as this time (Esther). Lord God, we pray she be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2)) and to demand of herself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray she is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action she takes against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray she sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May she be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev.14:6). We pray that she is convicted that she must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God"(Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Father, I lift up Representative Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick. Thank you for her service to our country. May she seek you for wisdom that she may lead our country wisely. Keep her for the pursuit of money and power but following you, the author of life. Protect her and her family.

Teach her Your Truth Lord, that she might walk in Your ways. We pray that she would have an earnest respect and holy fear of You, Lord God, as the supreme creator and ruler of all that exists. We pray that Ms. Cherfilus-McCormick would seek and follow Your guidance as she meets the challenges of each day and as she does so, Lord, please bless her efforts and guard her coming and going.
